The Official Honda S2000 Thread
Its a CR with 3K miles on it, mates.
If it were GPW or ABP, the cost would be significantly higher.
The market for CR's is such. Its not a normal S2000. For someone who is collecting rare cars ir looking for a CR in particular...a regular S2000 won't fit the bill like a CR.
I know. There isn't THAT much different between a CR and a base..and unlike a Type R, a base model can be easily converted into a "CR" shitclone.
But there are significant enough changes. And the VIN/Badge numbers are absolutely irreplaceable for someone that respects authenticity.
I bet this one will sell fast AF.

For plebes, peasants, hoodlums, tomfoolerists (such as myself), this gives me a bit of a tickle.
I'd buy a 40K CR with 3K miles.
In 2008, a brand new one cost like $36K.
That's like $41K in 2017 dollars.
Sure, its old....but its also special. And it has 3K miles. And it looks like it was driven by the type of chap that checked wind speed before bringing it out of its nest.
If you were poor in 2008...in 2017, you may have a respectable job since the economy improved. So if you missed your chance to own a brand new one back then...this car provides a pseudo 2nd chance.
Remember how Uncle Rico would pay goodass money to go back in time? Same thing.
2016 Roland would have been all uponSt this.
I've decided not to buy anything for a while. I paid off my student loans, and I am staying off the major purchase game for a while. No new bike this year. No BMW. No house. Its all been revoked...like that South African's diplomatic immunity in Lethal Weapon 2.

Were you falling asleep or something?
Just saw it in the theater on Sunday. I really enjoyed it. Good action, good characters, and still funny moments. The one thing I felt was that this iteration of the series was less about street racing/racing and modifying cars, and more about the characters. Which is fine as I think it worked out.

Were you falling asleep or something?
but then I got excited when I saw the s2k
little update for my Daily2k. lol...
had a nail come through the side of my fairly old Federal 595RS-R rear 255/40/17..... luckily... working with wheels means access to tires. Tried to get me some Falken RT615K+ but back ordered for a month and settled for Toyo Proxes T1... other than that.. 207k miles now.

Mine is going up on the lift this Thursday...
3.0" pulley, ID1000's, Hasport diff mounts, and AEM Wideband
Flashing her with a new basemap and then headed to get tuned within a week.
420-450whp is my hope!

50k seems steep for just about any S2k.

I guess I never really knew how small the NSX was. Maybe it's just the perspective, but that white s2k looks giant compared to ol' yeller.
