Daytime LED headlight Advice ??

I bought a set of Auxbeam FS-2 LED bulbs and they're pretty good. They work as DRLs and high beams. The high beams are also extremely bright, much brighter than I expected. They're much brighter than my 8000k HIDs for my low beams. I highly recommend it.

Wrong application with wrong optics won't = more bright..

My 8000K bulbs don't seem to be crappy. The Auxbeam leds are definitely much brighter with the high beam turned on. I didn't do any tests on how bright the LEDs really are since ai don't have a luxmeter and don't review bulbs for a living. I just bought them, installed them, and had my expectations exceeded. I didn't expect much since LEDs tend to not be as bright, but these one's were a pleasant surprise. Driving on dark empty roads is much safer with the high beams on. For comparison, the Auxbeams are significantly brighter than the halogens that come stock.

Was anybody successful in purchasing a good set of LEDs?
Or any suggestions on a hid kit for DRLs ? I'm currently looking to replace my stock bulbs and tryin to keep it as close as possible to my oem hid headlights which are 4300k I believe.

I have this set:

They look and work great with no DRL error indicator (needs the R2 resistor setup). Only downside is the high beam function is not as bright as the incandescent bulbs.

I have a set of V3 VLEDs I bought back in July. Ive been very busy and havent had time to mess with them. Also, I would have to bake the headlights to remove the stupid orange cover over the turn signals and that in itself is a PITA. I did request a return from the company for store credit just in case I decide not to go through with it (I am not mechanically inclined but the headlight baking is actually not hard from what I read up, just time consuming).
I may return them and just get a set of LED headlights with resistor and be done with it. I already have LED fogs and LOVE the look.

Lets take a look at your LED fogs...Post some pics if you can.

HIDs won't work for DRLs though. The LEDs can do DRL and high beam.
Also here are a few pics of the LEDs I got. Took these with my phone but I set the camera settings the same for all pictures. 8000K HIDs with the DRL/High beams off.
DRLs only.
High beams and low beams on.

Here you go, sorry for the late response have been busy. This was from my thread back in january asking about LED fogs. Ill get a picture of the completed look next time. However they look beautiful, and they help light the road way more than the halogen fogs.
