I envy you J. I wish i had more time to fuck around with my toys in the garage and such... got so many projects I want to tackle (3 friends' headlight retrofits queued up..., bicycles to build, fog light retrofit, brakes job, transmission fluid flushes.. more garage organization) but I don't have the time anymore

But you're never dull...
you're my hero, you're always bout that experience new things life.

At the end of my days do you think it'll be cooler to be like, wow...I waxed my stupid fucking lawnmower and made sure the trash was taken out every week?
Or I saw all over the country and world, ate every type of food from every type of culture, laughed and loved (okay, I do that) with my boo all over the world, made educated decisions was wise with my money.

Trust me, you don't have anything to envy...you're licking ass and taking names, bro.

The ST has a K03 and full boost hits around 22-23 PSI.

Great reliable turbo. Just runs out of air at the upper RPM band.

Totally agreed, for what it is .. K03s are great turbos. I don't know if you have a more updated version of the K03, but what is the maximum recommended boost you can push through it?

The Stage 2 tune for my car runs them to about 20 psi .. my turbos are too old for that

I believe stock they make 15-17 psi. Tuned ST's will make 22-24 psi. That's the max they make for safe power. I've seen a guy on stock turbo pushing over 25 psi, but who knows how safe his tune is. Max boost usually hits around 3k or a little below, which is bad for the clutch when doing a bunch of low rpm pulls just to see a high boost number on the accessport.

The refinished stockers look great! Much, much improved over the aftermarket wheels.

UPDATE:

I picked a very busy week to install coilovers, but I'm chipping at the project slowly but surely between days at the gym & plans after work. Front shocks are removed and If all goes as planned, I should them installed by Friday night!

Trying so hard not to go low, but I do have the opportunity to lower it roughly .5" until it starts scraping the driveway.

Thank the lawd for a second car.

Well instead of fixing the height of the car, can you just fix your driveway?

I think his exhaust will handle that...
he should just take a diamond disc and angle grinder to a 4" section of the highest point in the driveway to do that...bam...

I was really hoping to have it done this weekend, but I need to wait. After removing the front struts, my upper control arms / bushings are totally shot. A replacement set should be here this week .. I just can't stand the fact of putting it all back together with worn out components.

Annoyingly, the front 2 shocks were a PITA to remove because both of my upper control arm bolts were seized to the suspension assembly which made removing the 18mm bolt connecting the shock to the lower control arms impossible (long story short, if the upper control arms are not detached, the 18mm bolt runs into the lower control arms coming out and there's really no wiggle room around it.)

Pic I found online:

I have a plan on what I'm doing tomorrow, just takes more disassembly

No joke, the rears came out in literally 45 minutes.

I 'd today, I sent Jeremy a message saying my car cuts it's own springs

We both know what you should be saving up for and it's certainly not another beater.

Honestly, having a 15 year old car is pretty exhausting at times. The PO kept up with some maintenance, but I would say the suspension is one of the most neglected pieces of the car. I couldn't put the car back together after seeing what the upper control arms looked like

The S2k / S4 combo compliment each other quite well. You wouldn't seriously consider a B5 would you?

I know man, I saw an awesome looking black CL500 for sale at $5000 in (supposedly) good condition. Took every ounce of restraint I had to not buy it.
