Oak Tree Gun Club. Great place to shoot if you know what you are doing and can just go, pay, shoot, and leave. Rifle range, skeet, pistol range, sporting clays, archery, and more.

Shit place to work unless you enjoy civilians whoever never fired a gun before accidentally aiming them at you while loaded 100+ times a day. Only job ive seen where employees can yell at customers and not get fired. Lol

The employee I hired for our warehouse got injured on the job. I had weekends off because I had to be there to sign off and check the ammo and firearm shipments we got through the week so an employee I hired to basically just pick up any slack I left for the weekend was there.

He was asked to move a very large gun cabinet which had a lot of glass work alone. It fell over and he tried to stop it from hitting the ground. The glass broke and cut something in his hand resulting in the loss of all movement in his right index finger.

After he had surgery and things were back to normal they decided they wanted him to work more hours than I was having him work. I was working around his school/EMT classes. Well they ended up letting him go after the whole surgery claiming it was because he wasnt willing to work the hours they needed him to work... which was not the hours I hired him for. In reality they were just trying to change his hours from what I gave him to claim they needed to let him go.

They let him go and that was that for me. Great guy being treated like absolute shit and now I was stuck running their entire warehouse alone was the final straw on the camels back. I called up my last place of work who was willing to rehire me because I left on good terms so I said fuck Oak Tree. I did win a TV during the Christmas raffle just 2 weeks before I left. hahaha

The guy who they let go ended up taking them to court because they denied him unemployment after they let him go for reasons that would allow him to get unemployment. He told me in the court house before they even saw the judge the owners daughter, the HR lady who also runs the entire business, told him she had no clue why she was there because he obviously was entitled to unemployment. Well clearly they tried denying it in hopes he wouldnt fight it.

Bunch of crooks. I'm just glad I got out before I got hurt. Does suck I didnt get a second lower receiver or the MC operator I wanted at employee pricing but fuck it. My buddy still runs the pistol shop so he can always help me out there.
