You're a two-time sucka.. should have taken a pic of the mileage
Now he doesn't have to put it on ramps and run it in reverse

Hey man...it's insured...if the guy goes and puts a smile on his face and feels badly about ragging my car maybe he'll take a little extra time making sure the repair is perfect.
He actually did say he'd give it a once over and polish out any defects...there's some holographing here and there from a poor compound job (probably a rush to prep for sale).

We shall see!

I'm trying to figure out what kinda payment I want...thinking about doing 5 years and keeping it around $400 a month. Or hold out and throw a little more cash at it when the wheels sell too and make it less...
Obviously the less interest made off of me the better.

5 years at 400?? you only owe 24k on it? ahhh wait, you took the 15-16k from Blue and put it there right?

sell yo body and you will have her paid off in 6 years no problem (remember prfit is only calculated AFTER refunds)

Pretty much this.

Also it would be cool if you did a liquid finish over the polish. You could go for that gunmetal look but retain the polished finish.

But really I say aftermarket.

Advan RSD

I know you love the RS II but I feel the lack of lip leaves a lot to be desired on the Vagon. The RS D or the RS DF (no clue on the difference) would look sweet with the similar spoke face and the added lip. For once I think a matte or satin black would be killer on this car.

P.S. I also see a similar color brake caliper peaking through the advans. Time to resurrect the black/amber color scheme! Soon you'll forget all about that KBP phase you went through... or maybe KBP wrap

you fucker.
but thank you! that looks great!
Hmm...not sure I agree on lips, only because I'm not a huge fan
I DEFINITELY won't do black of any variation, but that's just because I hated black on black, I embraced it when I was fooled by pictures of my original works...
I actually DON'T like the RSII but do like the D's () so I guess we'll see!

Maybe I'll downgrade my brakes and go with some 15" weld wheels

Q
Shipping company did some light damage on the roof...fought with them for some cash to repair and they kinda finally did.
So I'm handling it now.

Can't run Advans on the Wagon. They don't make them in 5x120.

That has been my biggest problem with finding wheels for the wagon is the bolt pattern and the lack of companies I am used to making wheels for those bolt patterns. Have started to thing I might just have to give in and go with another set of custom 3 piece wheels for this car too.

that wagon from the 1800's made me fucking laugh the fuck out loud.

I do dig those, Maj...I do.
I honestly have been searching for a set of BWM 7 series take offs (like the ones our broham runs on his RL) or something like that...all of those should be 5 x 120...
then again, do I want to pay ANY money for someone else's oem wheel?

Which leads me back to aftermarket...lookin at them Velgens, same as the niche...weight isn't really a factor like with a lightweight car, but lighter quality wheels could be nice.
Also heard from a friend of a friend that my buddy that vends vossen gets a crazy discount with any wheel they kinda let him demo and who knows if one day bro price.
Only problem is his demos are never on RWD cars so the rubber would be wrong...I have good Michelin rubber on 19's right now but I never go aftermarket without at least adding an inch to oem wheel.

To each their own. Not a fan of those wheels at all. Eww.

You guys can get wheels redrilled to 5x120... Or run a spacer adapter with a higher offset wheel.

Or as stated a custom set is a good bet.... But advan does indeed make 5x120 patterned wheels. Just not as common so used might take a while to find.

What are the stock wheel specs?

I can't imagine redrilling being cheap...
I'm not into going balls out for a set of wheels and the custom ones like ADV.1 or whatever Jason has run in the past is out of my budget a BILLION percent.

19x9 +51
19x9.5 +56

Offsets might be vice versa.

Fuhhh...
I need my Advan to sell first though

I actually would HEAVILY consider these...they're forged, they're Rays, they're formula silver and I am pretty sure those offsets could work for the V.

I do agree with him. Take it slow. Personally id leave the oe finish and get some spacers. They are cheaper and youll notice them when you look at the car.

Wait a couple years then buy wheels.

Lol I'll be down that side in early December but by that time you'll probably have sold the car and onto something else at the rate you're going tint, spacers, and drop all within a month? I find myself literally searching for parts for the S2000 just because I'm bored. My next mod is to have 2 dings I found recently removed

Because its all in house and exactly what they do every day. They have their own GMR wheel line. They source the forged disks they toss in their cnc mill. They use barrel blanks and cnc the outer hardware holes to your specs. All in house.

Theyll be who i go to for new custom forged barrels to fit the discontinued work faces. Probably go step lip to go from 18x8 to 19x9.5

my parents own that exact van in the first picture. It makes an awesome tailgate vehicle.

The second one looks like it has wheels from a CTS-V on it.

Ron A is the man!
Jason...I saw a van with those the other day...they're a 6 spoke split and 6 lug but otherwise identical.
