Ride height is perfect, what are the spring rates of your coilovers?

Thanks boys..

As for the axle, yea vibrations. Except for that, not much really.

The coils are 18k F & 16k R. Want to upgrade to swift springs with 20K F & go down to 12K R. The rear is a bit much sometimes

I was thinking I would go with either a 12/10 or 14/12 setup, won't be any audio in the trunk this time around or really any rear seat passengers, so, I don't want to go with too stiff of a setup for the rear.

Looking at FF Type 2 with the FPS(?) upgraded springs.

The D2's come with 18/8 but I upped the rears which is why it's so high.

I'd go 14/10 if I were you but it's all personal preference of course

You're probably right with not going too stiff with the rear suspension, just going to make the rear bounce around if it's too much.

I am going with about the same ride height as you are(rolled/pulled fenders), but I don't know about 18/20 up front!

Some debri off a truck on the highway. Lip was bondo'd by the previous owner and the impact took a chunk out

As for the axle, did the swap a few weeks ago & didn't turn out as planned. Joint was being stubborn and wouldn't separate from the half shalf. I was in a time crunch and had to go to work so I put it all back together and haven't had the chance to get back in there..

Do you get a lot of compliments on it? I assume you would, because it's lowered, but, do you ever get other stock RL owners attention? The gas station is always fun, gives people a chance to check out someone's car.

Rarely run into RL owners but I sometimes pass one on my way to work & buddy is always giving me cut eye..

I've only had 1 gas station comment & it was 2 guys in a done up Mazda 3 asking.. "is that stock height?" .. So of course I'm like "yea man, 100% stock"

"done up Mazda 3".......what else would you expect!

I really need to get my project started.

Hoping to pick up a local parts car(another 03 TL Type S A Spec) to get a bunch of things that will help with the safety inspection and the restoration work.

Which means, technically, I would own a black AND a blue 03 TL Type S A-Spec!

I saw that black Aspec part out on kijiji. I talked to the wife about one I saw for sale but we decided against it.

Not much has changed with the exception of:

- AC is toast, haven't investigated but gonna take a wild guess that it's the stator. Not looking forward to replacing that
- Sunroof auto function stopped working which is either the switch or the sunroof console.

Any plans for centre caps?

I REALLY have to get my TL project done....been seeing so many local modded Acura's.....

Any other engine performance plans in the works?

I missed after Jeremy had asked, did you finally get things sorted out with the axles?

I have the BMW ones but never got around to doing anything with them.

I have some performance mods I have waiting to go on but just need time more than anything.

As for the axle, it's still sitting in my garage waiting to go on

I'm down for a acurazine meet up, hurry up already...

Illusion creates wide body look with staggered wheels. Well done!

nah, I'm NOT looking at the rear.
the way the front fenders sit on the front wheels make it look fat! (which is a good thing, IMO)
looks akin to an S2K front end!!!

then again, I really really love the way my front fenders look too!
maybe it's a Honda thing and their beautiful sleek front fenders
