SH-AWD has it's own ecu & works in conjuction with VSA/Yaw sensor.
There's some wiring that needs to be done since the TL-S pinout is slightly different than the RL. We shall see how it all works out hopefully this weekend if I can find some time to go get the immobilizer programed.

are you trying to get the manual gear box into the RL?

Finally got around to getting a little bit of work done.
To run the TL-S ECU, can bus wires need to be added from the DLC to the ECU & there's some depinning that needs to be done as well. This area is quite annoying to work in, let alone trying to get a decent pic on my back..
Managed to pull it off though, still need to do some work on the ECU side but hoping to get the ECU programmed tomorrow or Friday..

Nothing yet..
Haven't ditched the plan though, just have been focusing on the TL I bought as a daily/winter beater. Ended up needing more work than expected..
As for the ECU I have for sale, I've just been sitting on it for some time and I could use the extra cash to pick up the pace on these projects. I'm going to be running an auto Type S ECU..

No it's the rear setup on the front. Wanted to see what 19x10 looks like compared to 19x9.
It's thick to say the least but 245s all around would be nice. Fenders probably wouldn't agree

There's that familiar HFT low-pro jack!
No harm in what-if's, but would take some work to really make 19x10 look good on the front.
Besides, the setup looks so good this way,

Lol. Oh ok. Thought the AWD systems on the Acura's didn't like square fitment. But the 19x10 all around would look good though. But as you said. Not sure how the fenders would like it. Lol. Still looks good man. I might end up getting one in a year or two as a play car for fitment/shows. The 19x9/10 fitment still looks good though. Didn't see it before but did you need spacers to clear the calipers up front?

Ideally you want a square fitment to keep the AWD happy but I've had no ill effects after 2 years. Long term who knows..
As for the spacers, needs 10mm up front to clear.

When you originally painted the grille, how has it held up?
Did you:
prep - sand and clean
primer
paint
clear coat
did you use a gloss black, flat or matte finish and what brand of paint. I've been dying to paint my grille black and get rid of the chrome.
Thanks!

How hard was putting your crank pulley on? Because mine is not fitting! Did yours slide on easily or did you have to sand your crank snout or pulley some to make it fit? This is what XLR8 was suggesting to me and Heeltoe (where I purchased my pulley from) also.

I know, right? You're the first guy that I got a true answer from and responded. My brother, the Honda mechanic, and I are going to try it again another day.

The center bore of the pulley that slides onto the crankshaft, is like too small in diameter.

right...I had no issues with mine either. I don't think it's normal to have to file or grind anything to make it fit. Return it.
Josh at XLR8 told you this? Marcus from Heeltoe corroborated that that is what needed to be done?
I have never heard of this...unless you have a bunch of corrosion, which I doubt.

That's correct. I have emails stating that was what needed to be done in my odd case. I was leary on doing it. I am with you guys, it should just be bolt on affair. I can return it, but Heeltoe is only offering me $140 back if I return it since I purchased it over two years ago and just now got to trying to install it.
