That's great man, congrats on the nice rides.... Who said a family man wasn't allowed to have cars as toys? Awesome video of your daughter loving the turbo.

added 18MM spacers in the rear, and 10MM up front. Worried the rear may be a "tad" to much (most guys do 7MMF and 15MMR). So far so good. I need to lower the car another 1/4"

uh oh.....

need to widen the rears and do a 2.5" lip vs the 2" that's on there. Thinking about doing gold on one side of the car, and all black on the other (with gold bolts)

surprisingly I am too. I always have dreamed of a gold wheeled 911, it'll have to wait. Plus I'll save some money this way. Will prevent me from redoing and widening them. I can live with them only being 10" wide (stock is 11, some guys go down to 10.5") because I'll be running the same sized tires anyways.

Yeah honestly I really like the matte/flat gunmetal finish they already are on the silver car. My second vote I think would be copper.

Just put some nice meaty track rubber on them now and call it a day.

no real updates, but I did recently add the porsche airbag deactivation bar to the front seat. It's just too small for my son and I to be sitting on the same side. So we moved the daughter to the front seat in a 5 pt chair.

Advice.....do not strap yourself next to a 5 yo for a 6.5 hour drive (the 3 of us just did 900+ miles together over the weekend)....it's like a bad acid trip

Is it legal to drive with a toddler in the front seat of a two seater? Seriously, I want to know.

Yes it is, the laws are they must remain in the back unless there isn't a safe location. It's ultimately not safe for my son to ride behind me, so this works. Air bags must be deactivated. Frankly, I feel like my daughter is much safer in the front as I can get a proper 5 pt harnassed seat up there where I can't find one that fits in the back. This is technically a 4 seater car, so there is some grey area. But take a boxster, pickup truck, etc it's perfectly legal.

Additionally, companies like volvo (you know, those family safety swedes) say they see no differences in front or rear as long as seats are installed correctly. But the major reason for no children in the front is because of the airbag.

I wouldn't put my kids in danger, I will say, I have had a lot of people call me out on it, but most simply aren't familiar with the laws, or what the inside of a 911 is like.

I thought CCW did make custom wheels. Those ones that CLPower posted are friggin' beautiful. One of my favorite wheel brands, since they're NOT on every single car, like Volks

So I ended up finding a pair of 2.5" lips, so i'm going to be redoing the wheels in the next few weeks and moving them up to 10.5" wide.

Also ordered new intercoolers today, hoping to have that as my weekend project. Turbo's will be coming soon. Stock speakers also blew, replaced those with some cheap alpines.
