Selling my Dashboard guages for a type-s.

Some of you know about my LED endeavors but for those of you who do not, take a look at this thread

My gauges are the first ones pictured, but i have since perfected the method and the latest gauges ive done look like this
(another members gauges done by me)



I currently have my gauges out of the car and taken apart because i was going to change the LED colors and fix the hotspots.

but now i just decided to sell them and buy the 6mt guages.

as a courtesy, i will let the buyer for these guages pick what color he/she wants the guages to be. So in essence you will be getting type-s guages and LED lighting for them in whatever color you choose.(red,blue,white)**

Milage on the guages:140,xxx the dealer can re-flash the guages to your current milage.
**odometer must be blue or left oem. if you want red you have to buy the LED AUTOMOTIVE odometer bulbs.

Also, i am currently in virginia so i will not be able to start work on the guages until april 1st.

the type s cluster wouldnt work on a 99 huh? cause of something with the vsa and the temp gauge

 

sorry i think i was a little drunk when i posted this but what i meant was whats the deal with the H and E parts of the dash?

 

It looks like he made them appear redish to add the effect of seriousness....Like overheating is in red.

Make sense?

 

this one does work on a 99.. i have a 99 fuel works fine. i just had to remove the needle and recalibrate it. just like my temp

 

anc is correct. the photo is really ad and overexposed. the guages arent that bright to begin with. and its red..not pink :gheylaugh:

also, got your pm slow type-s the offer is a bit low and i have someone who is currently interested. if he backs out ill let you know

 

hard to believe no one wants these. type-s guages and LED lighting. couple of weeks ago i was still getting pm's about converting guages.

 

is it that tough to install & calibrate the gauges?

 

u wont have to calibrate them. ill do that for you.

and the install consists of 6-8 screws. i can email u the instructions if u want em.

 

the dealer reflashes your mileage? how much do they charge?

Would i be able to just swap the odometer piece out with the one i currently have and keep the same mileage without having to deal with the dealer?

yes but that would mean i have to de-solder 47 pins and re-solder them. something im not willing to do for 10 bucks more than what the guages cost me before all my LED labor. im basically giving these away

no. please read the first post. the ones pictured in here are tl-p guages that i did for another member. its just an example to show how nice they come out. mine are pictured in the linked thread but the picture is really bad.

 

would this be PnP for an 01 CLS?

 

plug and play for any 2nd generation cl or tl. type-s or non type s.
blue,green.silver,black,red,gold cars only though.

 

why only those colors of cars?
