H&R Coilovers: are these damaged?

Hey everyone, sorry if this is a noob question but I just received some used H&R coilovers today and was wondering if this is damage or normal? The fronts look fine. Cell phone pics:

Thanks everyone.

I have these coilovers and ive never seen the sleeve (i think thats what you call it) have that happen. but i can guarantee that the plastic ring between the spring and perch is normal, supposedly supposed to aid in adjustments. instead it just makes it hassle everytime you turn and it goes out of place

Thats totally normal man. The previous owner just poked the plastic sleeve with his fingers when installing/removing them from the car. Purely a cosmetic type of deal. I did the same thing to my set.

See my old thread for a fix:

If you replace the bad parts, it's only going to happen again. They don't smooth out the bottom of the spring end. Mine were so bad they weren't even adjustable. I moved mine around about 5-6 times to get the ride height perfect, before the alignment.

Thanks everyone, I'm just going to leave them and hopefully it isn't too difficult to adjust.

I bought them with about 10k miles.
