Yo guys. I'm going to be playing a bit more COD4 to work getting at least two golden guns. Some think it's pointless but it can be fun to achieve in the process.

I like Creek when I'm on the side with all the houses. Its so much easier to snipe from that side. My problem is when EVERYONE camps, including your own team.... no one helps you get to the other side. you try to sneak off the side by the waterfall, someone kills you. Up along the side of the cliff.... someone kills you. Try to sneak right up the middle, someone kills you.

 

Sun Diego are you on PS3 or 360? I'll be on in a sec.... I'm trying to get golden guns too. the MP44 has been a huge PITA but I realized having it on double tap + steady aim (instead of the typical stopping power + deep impact) rocks for close range, and helps because you'll get a random headshot out of luck once in a while.

I'm pretty close to getting a golden AK and golden uzi. oh and the uzi rocks with stopping power + steady aim btw, just fire from the hip and crouch.

Creek is ehh...whoever holds the high ground with the houses seems to hold the map. Overgrown is still my favorite level

I know it's camping, but I like locking down the cave... there are 3 ways to get to the other side, going around -which takes the longest, the ridge- more dangerous because it's a little path and you're totally exposed to snipers, and the cave -the quickest... if you lock it down, it forces the opponents to go around or use the ridge... sometimes, I'll set some claymores at the entrance of the cave and then snipe from the hill, especially when there's UAV.

Killhouse on free for all is my fav. quick, fun, and you get lots of kills (good for gun challenges)

yeah, I got all the gold guns a couple of months ago, and really haven't played it again until last week. I then realized why I stopped playing in the first place; it was hard for me to continue to enjoy a game where it takes 6,000 bullets to kill someone. It was a fun game and really the ONLY game I played for nearly a year, but it is just getting too old and frustrating now. I'm more than likely getting COD6, but I hope they make the bullet damage a bit more realistic and get rid of gay perks like Juggernaut and Frag x3.

wow, what games are you playing that are better than COD? You must hate Halo then, since you think it takes so many bullets to kill in COD. I hate Halo for the same reason but I like COD for the very opposite... you just need to make your shots count. Some guns, even without stopping power you can still kill a juggernaut without much trouble

 

yup, I can't stand Halo anymore. I used to play Halo exclusively until I got into COD4 multiplayer which despite my frustrations still blows Halo out the water.

I still think COD4 is a great game, I just started to find it increasingly frustrating over the past few weeks/months when I would seem to empty an entire clip into a guy and even have the cross hairs change showing that I am actually hitting him, yet he still doesn't die. Maybe I was just burned out from playing so much; I dunno. I had this same problem when I first started playing COD online but eventually went away. I even found getting all the sniper challenges much easier than I expected. However lately I'm having the same problems as I did when I first started playing.

The only other games I play on the 360 now are NBA 2K9, and also GHIII and Rock Band occasionally. I hadn't played my 360 for about a month when I was playing Drake's Fortune and Resistance on PS3; but now that I beat those games, I'm back to the 360.

I'll put COD4 to rest for a week or two and try again then.

Yeah, they were just getting pissed because all of them were getting owned by my claymores, especially the guy with the shotty... even one of the guys that was in our team got pissed because he placed one of his next to mine (AFTER, I had placed mine), and when an opponent got killed, he didn't get credit for it (credit went to me)... he got all pissed off

 

COD4 - hackers are running wild with the new "ufo" hack - . Hopefully IW fixes this quick.

It seems like within the last two weeks the number of people hacking has exploded. In fact, I didn't even know you could hack COD4 until last week when someone was able to enter into a boulder and was killing everyone.

 

Thats what ruined all the SOCOM games. Fucked cheaters and Glitchers. Sucks because I love the Socom family, and have played from Socom1 up to the new one, and glitchers always fuck it up.. My brother is one of those people. I cant stand it..

 

grrrrr and to think I was just about to fire up COD4 this week in preperation for Modern WF 2 grrrr

 

lol reminds me of Halo 2. Back in the old days 9 out of 10 games I played were ruined by people who used every glitch available on a map, or used standby.

That's really gay. I learned all the glitches for SOCOM II but would only use them if the other team was glitching so I could get them back. Now, I don't bother learning them, I'll just leave the game.

lmao.... I was playing HC Team Deathmatch and I was doing pistols only just to mess around. M9, Bomb squad + UAV Jammer + Dead Silence, no matter what map. I also had the "host advantage" so that helped. I was playing these hicks who were in a clan or something and they got pissed off when I was kicking their ass round after round. They eventually changed their tags to [SAMS] (Club?) which I thought was funny.

Eventually one of them sent me a voice message saying that I didn't use other weapons because I sucked and I had to cheat to get any kills. How do I suck when I'm using a pistol on a big ass map?

This was the first time someone sent me an angry voice message saying that I cheated, and I gotta say I'm pretty flattered. I'm going to keep it, then listen to it when on the 360 and I'm in a bad mood

heh I didn't send him a friend request, that would have been gold though. damn! He thought I had a turbo controller, so I told him I didn't have a turbo controller, and there was a patch that limited the rate of fire on the semi-auto guns. The funny thing was in his profile he talked about how his clan was totally against cheating.... and that they were about being respectful. ha.

Yeah it was silenced, but from pretty much any distance its a 2-shot kill or less. Its hard to hit moving people with it though, but if you peek out of a window and see the outline of someone's head/neck from far away, you can pop off two shots in the same spot cause the recoil (in game) on the Beretta is a joke!

 

before they put the cap on the ROF, I used to get accused of having a modded controller all the time... but the fast fingers comes from paintballing... I got sick of defending myself, cuz when I explained about the paintball thing, they always say "...yeah, I haven't heard THAT one before"
