oh, okay... I asked because I get friends request from time to time from random people... I used to accept them all but it got outta hand... now I just ignore most... I'm gonna hit the gym right now, I'll be back a little later...

 

My bad Young.... my connection randomly started getting shitty for no reason. At first I thought my 360 was getting too hot cause I was playing for over an hour before you invited me, but then it said 'Connection Interrupted' and it kicked me out to the menu, but you were still in the game Right before that I was trying to go down some stairs and into the the bathroom (on Broadcast) but the game would skip frames and I was magically up on the stairs again. The weirdest thing was that my lag was full green the entire time....

I tried to join the game again but after the game pretty much froze on me I just turned off my Xbox. next time

Nice! I just started playing R2 last week. I'm on the 2nd level at the shootout part. Its hard to see the folks in the fog though.

Have you tried the 60 man multiplayer yet?

 

I hate it when I do this... (unintentional of course), I leave in the middle of a match, only to find out I was the host, thus ending the game, and it pisses everyone off... I did it twice today...

 

Haha you're that guy. Why not just join a game in progress if you know you're not going to stay on that long

 

no, it's when you've been playing 2 hours+ and all of a sudden, for whatever reason, you wanna leave... I dunno, maybe you have to go to the bathroom, important phone call... I'll even go as far as to admit that when the people on my team (assigned randomly) are sucking balls... and I just want out.... whatever. Obviously, had I known I was the host... I wouldn't have left... you kinda don't know...

since you just got this game, I'll let you in on something... if you've "just joined a game in progress" there's no way you'll be the host. But I think what it does is... it picks the person with the best connection (automatically) and makes that person the host.... but you don't know if you've been selected as "host".

and I know what you're saying, "why not... just finish the match, then go?" Well, I listed the reason above already

 

That happened during Halo one when I was in college...some guy that started the game quits then it all shut down. We were all like WTF...especially when the match was good too

I hate that map.... how people aren't bored of nade spamming is beyond me. Everyone gets frag x3 (me included). But then again I like Chinatown which most people veto....

 

I like China Town too... but then again... I like Creek too, (people veto that one as well)

 

I don't like either of those. I do love Broadcast from the new variety map pack.

I just recently got into playing this game online on my PS3. Man is it addicting!

What are XP points?
I noticed my rank going up, I think I'm like a Gunnery Sgt. now. What do I do with the points?

How do I get the good guns?
I noticed when I get killed a lot of times the person that killed me has a better gun that I don't have the option of picking. For example, MP4 with a red dot signal, or an M16 with a red dot signal, Scorpian machine gun, etc. How do I get those?

 

Points help you level up.

the higher the level the more guns you unlock.

to unlock attachments on guns you have to complete those challenges. Get 25/75/150 kills and head shots.

You earn more weapons and accessories as you move up in rank. when you finish a match, if something becomes unlocked, you will see it on the screen. I don't know what level you are on, but you level up pretty quickly, especially if your team wins alot.

 

as i progress in the game and earn more XP points will my selection of guns grow before a game begins?

is there a way to find out which challenges (eg. 25 head shots with MP5) give me certain things?

 

You have much to learn grasshopper. That game will consume you!

 

^ yes there is, go over to the gun thats "locked" and it will tell you what you need to do to get it, whether it be higher level or challenge for red dot aim for example. I think that after first 25 kills with a gun you get a red dot aim, then a silencer, then a zoom, or maybe a granade launcher or something like that. It all depends on the gun.

I would show you certain things about maps and stuff but I am on 360 not ps3

 

It should tell you in "challenges" or "barracks" what you get for each unlock

 

best thing i got was the ability to drop a grenade when you die, cant tell you how many kills ive gotten with that

I'm like a 2nd Lt. II now, I completed a few of the challenges completely. I did the M16 Marksman phase 3 of 3 (150 kills), M249 SAW Marksman phase 3 of 3 (150 kills) but I still don't have a red sight or additional weapons.

How long does it take before I can start off with different weapons? Is there a special way of accessing them that I'm not doing?
