Remove the belt > Remove the 3 bolts holding the tensioner to block > done!

It's relatively easy to do it but the space is tight! Don't be afraid to get into it, it's pretty simple.

The pulley bolt is clockwise open, if you need to open that. Also make sure to open the bolt going through the middle of the tensioner (not the pulley bolt).

It is not hard to replace tensioner, but problem is the space to remove the middle bolt. You will have to do it through the wheel well. Don't remove the belt first. First is to try if you have a way to remove those 3 bolts, once you have the plan in mind, then remove the belt and proceed. That way you don't have to put the belt back and drive to the store to get tools or whatever you need if that is your only car.

This has me confused, I usually go to the TL section and then correct generation. I could not find a thread on this issue in Off Topic section? I'm guessing there is a thread I've not found ?

Very thoughtful.....thanks for taking the effort and time to help others.
Unfortunately, as our cars are getting older.....so is the hosting for pics within the "DIY"s.
