Opinion please
Hi guys I need your opinion. Looking to buy a 06 RL with 73K on the odom. Went to do a test drive and the car seemed ok except for a few details or lack thereof. First, the car throws a bunch of codes like CMBS, ABS, SHAWD, VSA, collision mitigation system, TPMS, AFS, and many more on both the navigation screen under 'messages' and as well as on the odometer panel. We checked the front of the car and it didn't seem like they did a good job of putting it back together. I mean the front bumper doesn't even line up with the wheel well. This indicates that there was possible a front end collision even though car fax didn't show the car had any accident history. Other than these lights and the bumper not lining up and the paint seemed to be off with the rest of the car, I just don't have that feeling that I should buy the car. Also, the car has been on sale for a couple of months now and the dealer keeps dropping prices several times. So what are your opinions? Let's hear it. Here's the link to the car

Collision damage, does not necessarily, get reported to Carfax. Such reporting is voluntary, not mandatory. IF, you MUST HAVE this car, at the very least, take it your local Acura, or Honda Dealer, and request a Pre-Purchase Inspection, which routinely, costs approximately $100.00. At least, by doing so, You will have an unbiased, Third Party, Opinion, regarding IT'S overall condition, and be better equipped to make sound buying decision!

I can't think of a single time that I've had "that feeling" about a decision but made it anyway and didn't regret it.
I've purchased a couple of vehicles that had previous collision damage but did some homework on the car prior to purchase. If you look up the VIN on Google you can often find pictures of the car with the damage. Especially if it was sold in an auction, from a dealer or any sort of sale online. Then you can make a decision based on what you see. I wasn't able to find anything for that VIN though.

The pictures on the autotrader ad aren't even in focus. It's like they purposely made it blurry so you couldn't properly see the car's external condition. Run away.
