Post your Wet Kit install pics

Just looking to see how you guys with the CLs did your wet setups. Please include pics and details. Looking primarily at the fuel feed line to the solenoid. But post pics of your complete setup.

You can't really see the fuel line supply to the solenoid. All I did was cut the oem fuel hose and add a t connection in the middle.

Here is a couple of pictures the way my car currently looks today. I'm re powder coating the valve covers a new color, changing the tube seals, and adding another p2r gasket on the manifold to keep my plenums off the valve covers.

Hey fox, while you're in there, could you look to see how hard (or easy) it would be to install a direct port system into each individual intake runner? I've FINALLY ordered my custom rods/pistons for my 3.5 build and will soon be approaching the task of determining this. I'm not going to be as careless with this $5200 (in parts) motor as I was with my stock j32!

Your best bet would to get a MDX spacer to put in between the upper and lower intake manifolds. Just drill and tap the spacer for each nozzle, then you would have to plum the system. The only down falls in my opinion are if you go that route is, I don't think your hood would clear and it would be a pain in the ass to change the jets out for different sizes. Here's some pictures for reference.

^thats my set up. The hood will clear but u would need to notch out the support bars tha are on the underside of the hood and u would need to pop up the rear of the hood a good 1 1/4". Ans no u cant mill down the spacer bc then the nozzle will hit the fuel rail and or the manifold. Its a very tight fit so ur measurements need to be exact.

That my friend is jizztastic! But there's no way to do it without the spacer? Like maybe using the smaller piranha nozzles? And btw Rajca, what's your bottom end consist if internally on that setup?

u can put the nozzles in the runners but thats a whole lot of more work. stock bottom end. i focused on my turbo build and not the nitrous build. now that my turbo build is almost done im gonna finish up the nitrous then do my block.

Hey Raj, what size thread was tapped in the spacer to install the nozzle? Also, I noticed you installed the nozzles perpendicularly to the spacer but would it be better to come at an angle in terms of having more space to work with or does it really not matter? I'm currently making this exact setup and was looking for any advice or guidance from someone who's already done this method. Thanks.

i think it was a 1/8npt tap. if u go on an angle then the nozzles will either hit the fuel rail or the manifold and it wont spray straight down like it should

How does you car feel on the nitrous rajca? Your setup is very efficient per cylinder I'm sure. That's one thing I like about direct port kits. They hit harder also since the nozzle is so close to the combustion chamber lol.

I agree with you 100% I'm not a fan of dry kits on cars either. Unless it's for a motorcycle on a small shot, I like how simple and small it is lol.

I would of went the boost route on my cl but didn't want to deal with the headaches and more cost's. I'm boosting my foxbody mustang so that will fulfill that need haha.
