Thinking of installing fog lights on my '00 TL. Do I need to worry about the yearly safety inspection thingie? Do they have any special rules for fog light?

Hey, I'm new to this forum! I installed my yellow fogs last year and passed inspection with a breeze. If they have any rules they didn't say anything to me about them.

Thanks! It went ok! It took me around two hours putting in it lazily. My left one actually went out the other day so I need to pull it out and see if it burnt out or if the connection is bad.

Sorry for the late response. My car was solf already and I left the visors on.

I have some resistors that I got with my switchbacks if anyone is running LEDs and wants to remove hyperflash. Lmk. I'm looking for 10 bucks

Get more aero for the car and slam it

Better for gas mileage. That's the excuse I'm using to spend 600 bucks!

Does anyone have a problem with their side mirrors? I will probably have to take a picture and show, but my passenger side mirror looks like...rust or some disease is inside the glass and it keeps growing? Its not on the outside of the mirror. Any one know what I'm talking about?

Yeah that's normal in the 04's. Mine has it on both sides. Its some kind of oxidation. Only cure for that is getting the newer model's glass put in.

I'm not sure how much it is. I'd check for either used or new. New you'll have to buy the whole molding and mirror which isn't cheap. See if you can just get the glass only. That'll be cheaper. I don't care enough to change it. Will go get aftermarket mirrors someday like Acuratein's car.

Not a pain to change out just expensive. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.

Cheapest option that I can suggest is just to find someone who can custom cut a mirror for you. Get some light tint on it to eliminate glare and pull off the original and throw the new ones on.
