Looking good. Those custom door sills look amazing. Too bad they didn't go into production for ziners.

Someone has done that on here using decals. I'm not crazy about it personally.

sills look badass! the custom black looks dope with your NBP. the red leds are nice, but i would have done them white. but red is cool too.

all the non type-s owners will say they dont like the red leds or ambient light. but if they owned a type-s they would quickly change their minds. i was one, my previous ride was an 04.

lol at the trees in the rear vents. pretty good idea though!

I like it. My buddy has a silver Type S and did the whole red LED interior.

Not a fan of the light up sills.

Thanks man! I anodized the sills black but it look pretty matt black. so i painted them. I like the look much better. I am getting a second set so i think ill have the set powder coated black. i think that will work out better.

Seem to be the best spot for my trees i try to keep them out of the sun. I left on on my dash in my 91civic and it left a bad stain. This works well as it gets air flow across them

The sill look alot better in person. The red really is red. but because of the frequency the el strip vibrates at its hard to photo graph the red.

I might change to to white someday but for now i like the red lighting. I am not a fan of blue as it makes it hard to see at night. but some people like it. its all about personal preference. I get alot of looks when i get out if!!!

Car looks great man. After seeing your car I'm thinking about converting to the full red LED interior myself

Whats your opinion on the effect of this mod on your ability to see inside your car at night? could you still read text under the dome light or does it really cut down on your visibility?

Also, do you lose the fade effect that the interior lights have when you close the doors with these LEDs?

again, love what you did with the interior. Must get a lot of looks when you pop the doors

The main dome lights i got are a 12led panel so they are extremely bright and you can still read things. it is a little harder but still can fairly easy. if i need to read something i cant see in the red lights i open the vanity for some white LED love The fade is still there but at a certain voltage drop they shut right off. I would say its about 3/4 of what the stock bulbs where. yeah people stare alot.

I like it alot. some people perfer white but i like black and red

Why do I get the feeling that if I sat in your car with all the lights on for over 5 minutes I would get extremely angry and want to kill someone when I got out???

Hey DealthMetal, you may not remember me but I'm the guy from a few weeks ago asking you how you did your interior light conversion. You told me to use 3mm flat top LED with resistor. I've been working on this project for a few weeks now and thought I drop you a line. I got all the doors and most interior lights all switch over to blue, the only thing left is the steering wheel, and radio. Soon as all that is done I'll post some pictures up for every to see. Again thanks for all the info on how to do this. I do have one question, do you notice that after an while the led bulb fade an little? Drop me an line.

Exactly! Onboard Naval vessels they use red and blue lighting at night. It takes a little getting used to but you can function on red lighting. OP, looks good.

Where can I get these in Blue? Also how do you wire them up ... drill holes underneath or run the wire so it's visible?
