Mod Friendly dealers

I am located in Westchester, NY and I was wondering if anybody in the area knew of any mod friendly dealerships to get my warranty work done?

LOL - You have a typo in your correction of your typo.

TITLE = not tittle.

Thanks for the laugh! Brightened my otherwise gloomy day!

Judging by your thread (https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-photograph-gallery-144/914tsx-build-thread-913396/) you don't have any modifications that would void your vehicle warranty.
Read up on the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975. The act states that a dealer must prove that aftermarket equipment caused the need for repairs before it can deny warranty coverage.

And then read my post about the Act and you will understand why it does not apply.

There is no such thing as a mod friendly dealer when it comes to warranty work. The exception is if it is a factory authorized aftermarket mod or something special installed by that particular dealer. (i.e. special wheels, interior wood trim etc.)

Try quoting the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act to the dealer. They will laugh at you. They will deny warranty work if you have mods on your car and there is not much you can do about it. I have a very old thread about my escapade at the dealer. For that reason I waited to do my major mods only once my car crossed 50k miles.

In my experience the service advisers want to haggle you for the mods. They are looking for a way to NOT do things under warranty. The mechanics LOVE mods and oogle over them. Nearly every dealer I go to the mechanics want to check out everything and take pics.

That being said, I don't see any mods on your car being a problem. All those are factory accessories yes? (except the tail light overlays) What they really have a problem with is aftermarket mechanical and electrical mods and wheels.
