Hi, I'm inheriting an old '99 RL with over 200k on it and since I don't have time to work on it, I was hoping to find a good independent mechanic in Central NJ.

It has a bunch of issues except for the engine/transmission which are in great condition (oil changed regularly/transmission fluid flushed every 40-50k miles). Everything else is falling apart since my uncle never bothered to fix little things as long as the car kept moving.

To start with, it needs a timing belt/water pump change as the last time it was done was at 120k miles, then the CEL/SRS/ABS lights are on, its definitely a Christmas miracle that the car still drives lol. I'm guessing it needs new brakes all around since the rotors are warped. SRS is a seatbelt issue most likely which is very common on these cars. ABS light is on, not sure what it is? I've a ODB-II scanner and plan to get the codes for the CEL soon, how do I get the ABS/SRS codes?

What else would you change in this car so it will hopefully last a little longer.
