whats going on everyone..i JUST recently bought my tl-s back in june, and im having EVERY problem possible. one of the issues that i cannot seem to figure out is the brakes. when i bought the car i noticed the brakes made SO much noise it was embarrassing, i took it back and they replaced the pads. they continued to make noise, i noticed they put some cheap unknown name pads on so i went out and purchased OEM ones had them put on. THEY ARE STILL MAKING SO MUCH NOISE!!! i dont get it. i asked the guy who i had install the pads what else it could be, he said maybe the rotors need to be resurfaced, but idk if you should do that having brembos on the front. i DONT want to go buying new rotors and then it doesnt fix the issue. any idea what else could be causing it? the guy did mention he thinks a custom brake system was put on but i told him im pretty sure the front brembos are custom with the TYPE S.

if you head back to the shop/mechanic have him lube every pin, every slider, Just everything.

if you are sure that all pads have been replaced with new ones, then the noise is related to metal on metal contact and needs to be lubed.

ive been to 3 different mechanics, if lube is all it takes i will go crazy !!! lol i work in the bronx, the people who put on my new pads is right next door, im gonna see if theyll do it tomorrow while im working, deff will let you know if that solves it because this shit is getting on my nerves now ! thanks

 

^it took me SEVERAL tries before I lubed everything up correctly.

I did hate it tho. whenever I braked, it didnt sound like a luxury car

 

i dont even want to drive it its so freakin embarrassing lol i always get people looking at my car like oh shit nice and then i get to a red light and they like oh dam lmfao killing my vibe, hopefully they get it done tomorrow and it fixes it, if not idk what else to do
