Got a speeding ticket need a lawyer
OP you can use Weiss & Associates. They can most likely win the case or reduce it dramatically for you, totally worth it for the points.

What time of the day did you get the ticket? I always forget that the limit is so low there... I usually drive at a steady 55-60 on the FDR. I guess I should really pay more attention.
No lawyer advice but good luck with that regardless...

this part of the fdr is close to ground zero when you get right on the fdr where it begins it was around 3:30 it didnt feel like i was going that fast tho its 6 points and i believe $195..and thanks guy for giving me some info any more will be appreciated
WTF? I grew up in Manhattan and still go there. Doing 65 on the FDR is normal.
I've done that so many times. He must have had a quota or was having a bad day.
Anyway, find out where the court is and if no one here can recommend a lawyer, get one that works near the location of the court. They usually all know each other; the judge, the lawyers, the cops. It's the Old Boys Club. You won't get away with not paying $$$ but you can get away with the points.
I once got a 34 over the limit on the Taconic. I believe it was something like 8-12 points but NOT wreckless driving. It was a long time ago. Anyway, got a lawyer, no points, $100 fine.

Are you still going to hire a lawyer to fight the points? You probably should. Did you check the lawyers in my post above?
guys just to clarify, you can get wreckless driving for 1mph+ but its officer discretion, it is a separate ticket
edit: almost any ticket can be wreckless driving but cops dont write those tickets cause it probably wont hold up

Almost 10 years of an immaculate driving record and I got two tickets this year within 2 months. I need some lawyer that will use all the loopholes in the book to get me out of this ticket. My friend's used to have this lawyer back then that delayed a ticket so long they eventually dismissed it.
ok so i found a lawyer for the tickets his office is located on rector street..but i just got a summons because i was right next to crocheron park in bayside..drive down 35th ave past 212 st all the way to the dead end.. i got a summoms for being in a park after 9pm but what confuses me is that it was a dead end and on one side was the park and the other side is the houses..is the road part of the park or something lol gets me mad
