west coast meet should be in like norcal somewhere or the bay area. That'd be more fun for us northwestern folks

 

Coast drive was nice. Almost took one of the TL's but had to slow down because of other cars had a great time. Fun meeting all you. Make sure to come up and check out the Seattle meet! I'll post pictures soon as well.

Thanks for the email.

I was at the property Saturday and am aware of the matter.

We do not allow car clubs on the property. All groups visiting the property, for any purpose other than shopping, are prohibited from accessing the property without a fully executed agreement between the shopping center and the group in question. The group is also required to provide a certificate of insurance reflecting our requirements.

We have had several car clubs meet on site previously and we have received complaints from merchants, customers and residential tenants across the street complaining about intimidation, alcohol consumption, drug consumption, tire squealing etc. We have posted our code of conduct at each entrance to the shopping center prohibiting these types of activities.

Recently, this matter has become more troublesome and the Hillsboro PD is working in the community to address car clubs who access private property. These clubs are being run off from private property and looking for other locations. We have diligently enforced our policies, consistently, with each of these groups and all other groups accessing the property in violation of our policies.

Our officers are not overzealous as they are diligently enforcing our polices, consistently, at the shopping center. This activity is prohibited by our code of couduct. Please clarify, were you waiting for friends from out of town, concened they would get lost or were you part of the Acura group that parked, openend their hoods and were hanging out? It seems like we may be talking about two different groups of people.

I understand their issues. The guy was a jerk though, there is a difference between politely explaining policies and being an ass.

As for meets in the future, we'll have to make use of public parks and/or abandoned parking lots, or after hours corporate lots. For example where I use to work in Hillsboro allows the lot to be used for public use after hours for the Dawson Creek park. Could always meet there after 6 or on the weekends and not be hassled.

 

ya the guy was a total wanker we are all adults and he came to us like we were kids.. i can understand there fustration on kid car clubs causing issues but we arent teenagers, infact was there a person there under 21?? what if it was a porsche club? would they be treated different cause of the type of car? i think there is alittle profiling going on .. just my opinion.. ive had 3 different meets there with no issues dont know what there deal was this time... Oh ya Jay reving a turbo SUV hahah

I was out in seaside that weekend and saw a pair of black TL's (7 or 8 o'clk) heading out with washington plates was it you guys? I noticed you guys said you did a coast run.
