that should be good too. maybe meet around 11:30am for pics?

i took some short drive on sunset highway. with the precat deletes, its totally different beast. car pulls crazy with added noise and smell it drones quiet a bit on highway when gas is applied. also small amount of exhaust smell comes into cabin with the heater on. used to love that smell when i was a child but now it gives me a headache... will have to put the 3rd cat back on and see the changes. if i feel the loss in performance with the 3rd cat, i'll have to order atlp highflow cat soon

i went out for another short drive and funny thing happened. i was all concentrating on hissing sound and any other dynamic changes after the precat delete install. i floored the gas after taking a left turn into tv highway and went up to 50mph and slowed down. all of sudden something flies away on my right and it was jeep grand cherokee srt-8 trying to catch up to me. haha... it was two lane left turn street merging into tv highway and i never knew it was srt-8 right next to me. i had a head start but probably he couldnt catch up if i didnt slowed down.

I need to pay more attention to this thread! We should all get out for a photoshoot before the weather turns to crap.

Min did you get new gaskets for your install?? Did you use the OEM hardware or new? None the less, it'd be interesting to hear no cats with the ATLP cat-back....maybe you should uhhh.... pick one up?

Kinda spur of the moment shoot

We will have to do another soon.

Got lucky and got to drive Min's TL, pulls hard after 3k rpm.
I offered to let him see how mine pulls with ATLP Cat-Back, but he didnt want to hit anything with my car being so low

Ive gotta get Jpipe and kill the kitties.

My pics are up on the link.

Kyle - I'll just drop off the ATLP race pipe at SpeedConcept after the 3rd cat swap. You can try it out and see if you like it and give discounted price if you decide to keep it

Chris - The precat deletes came with two new gaskets, but I'm thinking to go grab some more at the NAPA and double layer the gaskets. Some of the TSX people had a exhaust leak problem after installing RT cats and double layering the gaskets solved the problem. Hopefully it seals up good.

Car felt little different compared to last night while driving back home after a photoshoot. It felt like it lost some low end torque. It might be the cause from exhaust leak or no backpressure from running catless. Definitely will slap back on the 3rd cat.

Today driving in to work i noticed that i had no drone. The RPMs were steady at 2k going up a slight incline on 26 doing about 65mph and all exhaust noise was clearly coming from the back of the car and not resonating right under the front seats.

I dont know, it sounds great and i love it. Drove home after the shoot yesterday with windows down no music. Gotta love the second gear rip in the far right lane of the on ramp of I-5 south from 217, that big wall echoes so well.

i just dont like unnatural...i special ordered some magnesium blue TE37's (now you would think when you spend over 3k on just rims things should go smoothly, all paid cash up front) It was suppose to take 3 months...after 4 they said they should be here any week. they kept saying that refusing to give me a tracking number or anything. i started getting really mad and the ashley girl - who i dont think works there any more - had a major attitude. wes told me he'd take care of it. well i got their contact info for the rep thru speed concept cuz im good friends+ with the guys and come to find out my wheels had never even been ordered...they finally showed up some 10 months later...oh i was so angry. since then i kinda have a thing against them. i know stephen with the grey tubo tc running around beaverton and they did an awesome job with his car...everyone else i know who takes their car there gets screwed.

oh ur all probably not to interested in TC pics but they were beautiful...still have them 4sale if u know anyone with a 5x100 bolt pattern

man that sucks... sorry to hear about your luck.. most places when you waive a grip of cash they will take care of ya.. I guess i was lucky enough i didnt buy anything through them.. i just did my dyno.. i thought there was something wrong with the dyno machine there or something haha.. wish speed concept had a dyno.. i would rather go there.. only cause i have a good relationship with tony and never had issues there for buying parts..

nice rims though... i have a TC as well.. fun cars to drive.. just wish they had more HP after 5200 rpm.. it seems like it just poops after that..

Nice, i was at Sonic with my busted rear ended version of my TL, and at HT right after it was fixed with the White wheels. So much has changed since then

So PDXmas registration has opened up. I just sent in my registration to try and get a spot in-doors

first, my girlfriend notices the smell (she doesn't know if i bought new parts again).

second, i felt bit of low-end torque loss. it really pulls on higher rpm but almost useless in city driving.
