You forget that I've pissed off all but two of my neighbors, and the last time I had a party they called the cops at 9PM!!!

I'm broke too. That PDR on the RR door of the RDX cost me $300 (because it was on a "style line"). Hence the reason I didn't buy a cell phone and I'm stuck using this old POS Crackberry for the next 6 months.

Matter of fact, it seems like I have taken one finacial hit after another for most of 2013. This has not been a good year for me.

got "Check Emission" light this morning with the new map. thought it misfired, but car's running smoother than ever with this tuned map. after plugging in flashpro for diagnostics, thankfully it wasn't a misfire. but a coolant thermostat error (P0128). forgot the whole message but it said "temp below blah blah." cleared the code, hopefully it doesn't comeback.

my car was running really rich. until Friday I thought it was due to the high flow cat with all the unburnt fuel smell. no more of that after the tuned map.

 

you running cooler then normal? or was it warmer? did you notice your temp gauge being different?

Could be worse. My neighbor told me they had to come back early from vacation because the Suburban got stuck in second gear. Drove home at 35 mph from Everett. His bill is gonna be $1500.

 

i looked at the temp guage but nothing unusual. hopefully it was just a morning hiccup with the new map

 

i guess thats the downfall of tuning.. dont know when there will be a glitch that shows up

 

No check emission light today. Now I'm thinking to tune more after swapping in 45 degree vtc gear.

damn it! yesterday's post might have jinxed it. check emission came back on minute after the first start in the morning. something with new calibration seems not 100% compatible.

 

maybe you have a sensor actually going out.. same sensor as before??

 

need to go home and pull the code again to see if its same.

its a coolant thermostat error but car isn't overheat/cooling unusually. after clearing a code later today and if it comes back on, i'll reflash it back to base map to see if its the calibrations causing this.

 

better do it before you put that cam in.. might have to take it to a professional make sure something didnt get over looked
