105k service in Seattle area?

Does anyone have a recommendation on where to get the 105k service, water pump & timing belt, done in the Seattle-Tacoma area?

I'm kind of a novice when it comes to repairs, but I'd like to try & do some of the work myself. I've replaced the engine and cabin air filter, change my oil, and replaced the app sensor. I have spark plugs and hope that I can change those myself by following the DIY.

Acura of Lynnwood wants $850 for the 105k service, which sounds like just a bunch of inspections, plus changing engine coolant, transmission fluid and spark plugs.

Other Honda and Acura dealerships have quoted me from $885-1250 just for the water pump and timing belt work. Is there anywhere else in the area that I can get all this done, without being gouged on the 105k service? Thanks

105K service is, primarily, the Timing Belt and Water Pump.

If Acura of Lynnwood is doing it for $850, that is not a bad deal. Not "awesome", but not bad.

You can also check local Honda dealerships. Pretty much the same as 6-Cyl Accords.

The $850 they quoted is for doing a complete inspection of the car, plus changing spark plugs, flushing coolant, changing engine and cabin air filters, and an oil change. With the timing belt and water pump replaced they want $1800

Please remember that we offer all Acurazine members 20% off on all parts and 85.00 per hour labor rate instead of the posted 120.00 per hour. I'm assuming you were quoted full retail if you did not mention that you were an Acurazine member. So with the Acurazine member discount, assuming you were quoted full retail, your price will be significantly less!

Feel free to contact me directly and I'll make sure you're hooked up.

Best regards
Charles

I have had my service done at Acura of Lynnwood and even without the 20% discount, they have the best service and prices around the Seattle area. Their customer service is great as well, I had 90% of all the work on my RL done there.

Yeah, that's a rip off.

PM me if you want a contact. A good friend and old co-worker, who is still one of the top techs at Honda of Seattle, does a lot of work on the side. He will give you a great deal.

I second this remark. My wife is the concierge there and if you bring your car in during one of her days on shift, you'll be greeted by her.
I even brought my MINI there to have some service done, that's how good they are.....

The 20% discount for acurazine members sounded good so I scheduled for my timing belt and 105k service for Friday. I've been going to Bellevue acura and their service is awesome but expensive.

You'll be happy there. I'd tell you to say hi to my wife, but she won't be there on Friday. You might have talked to her when you scheduled though.....
