LEO's will not pull you over with back windows tinted 20%. If you have tint fronts IE;
drivers/passenger side you could get hassled. But I do see a lot of front window tints
So it all depends if your the type (live by a few rules break a few rules)....

yea i was talking about the front windows. I was just wondering cuz it would suck to take them out when i just got them.
I have 20 all around but in sac they don't care as much. Moved here last year so haven't been here long. Back home in the Sonoma County, cops are everywhere and they give tint tickets left and right. Guess it depends on where you live and the mood of the officer.

Visibility at night is not too bad as long as people dont forget to turn on their headlights.

I have around 20% too, and I live in San Jose/Cupertino area. Been driving with tints for around 2 years now and haven't been pulled over, but I try to be cautious (if a cop is next to me, I roll down windows :p)

Usually cops only give you tint tickets if you do something else wrong. At least thats from my experience. I got out of a speeding ticket (thanks to my girlfriend) and instead he gave me a tinted window fix-it ticket. Just got it signed off and still have them.

How did u get it signed off without taking them off? do u know someone thats a cop?
My tint ticket was back home and I was leaving the JC parking lot. Cop passes by me then I take left turn and go on with my day. He flips a bitch and speeds crazy fast to me and pulls me over for my tint. He also asks me if my car was lowered because HIS TL wasn't not this low. My answer ... It's the sports model lol. Anyways, I had my ticket signed off as well without having to bother with taking it off.
It don't even matter what city your in.
I live in EG I got pulled over for front tint, my wife and sister never pulled over in EG.
My wife drove to midtown and was pulled over by SacPD for window tint, and she did nothing else wrong.
It all depends on how much of a dbag the cop is/wants to be.
