And I know Mike and Sway have seen my posts before, but to all those SACRAMENTO peeps, HELLO! My formal intro is here (https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-1999-2003-98/my-formal-introduction-my-new-stance-kicks-840299/) but would still like to check in and say whats up!

TODAY, in like 10 minutes, I am beginning my TSX Projector retrofit! Any question, comments, suggestion would be appreciated. Along with blacking out the housing! Cant wait! Will have TONSSS of pics of the whole process and depending how legit I get it to come out I'll post a DIY.

And Sway I do agree with you that I like the NON LIP look on our LOWERED TL's. I would go for an OEM lip kit but after restoration and paint itll be upwards of 600~ hoping I get a GOOD deal. I dont happen to work at a body shop like Mike haha.

And question to you guys. I do ALL work on my car myself except for the tranny replacement lol. But I am over due for my 120K Service. On friday I ordered EVERYTHING,

1. Timing Belt
2. A/C Belt
3. P/S Belt
4. Auto Adjuster (Tensioner)
5. Timing Adjuster (Tensioner Pulley)
6. Left side Motor Mount
7. Timing Belt Idler Pulley
8. Water Pump
9. A/C Belt Tensioner Assembly

10. And BLACK Honda Wheel Locks FTW

But I am looking to get ALL those parts changed along with Value Adjustment. Two fellow TL (0ne 2g and one 3G) recommended OZMOTIVE off of Bradshaw and Folsom for labor and vouched for his good work. I dropped by his place last week and he quoted me $300 for Labor and $200 for valve adjustment. My question to you ALL IN SACRAMENTO, have any of you been to OZMotive? Ozie is the owner of the shop and this guy, at least sounds like, he knows what he's talking about. The fact that two TL owners referred me there makes me feel better about it. But $500 for labor and valves did not seem like a bad deal to me, but what do you guys think?

This, other than the Tranny of course, is the only job I DO NOT wish to do. For the simple fact that I do not have experience with the timing gears and do not wish to get my timing off.

Do you guys know any other reputable mechanics in Sac area for this service for the same price or cheaper? Or are any of you interested in doing the same service? He made it seem like he would cut a deal on all cars if I brought 2 or 3 cars to him for service. Parts should be here Friday and I want to do this service along with change coolant and tranny fluid before I go back to school on the last week of January.

OHHHHHH and on a side note, any of you Sac peeps, if youre ever looking for ANYYYYY USED OEM part, big or small. From a fastener, push tab, or 10mm nut or bolt to A WHOLE Engine, exhaust or suspension PM ME!! ANY OEM PART PM ME FIRST! I have access to a PLETHORA of OEM used parts. Got my TSX Projectors for $40!! FTW!

Other than that look forward to meeting you all and HAPPY 2012!
You finally made your way into the SacTown thread, I see. I thought you already took your car into Oz?

Oh, and in case you can't figure it out, it's Carlo lol

Are you guys down for a Meet and Kart meet?

Meaning Grab some food, meet the new peoples and go go Karting? Sometime in February? But it can't be the 5th because Super Bowl, it can't be the 19th because I will not be here.

So I'm thinking either Feb 26th or sometime in March.

LMK guys.

Don't forget the cam seals, spark plug tube seals and metal gaskets for the intake manifold and for the valve covers. There might be more cause I remember buying like 300 dollars worth of parts for my 105k service.

Looks like I'll be taking my car to Ozmotive in the future if I need shop work done.

About that cl ad, I called and one day they had it, I called the very next before I made the trip and they said they sold it already. I was mad cuz it was already painted.

Is the Firestone lifetime alignment only for one car or can I bring as many cars as I want?

I think you can extend them if you wish but probably not worth the hassle.

You can extend them, it's not much to do either.

I seen my old TL at downtown plaza, I found the extra key in a drawer as well.

So Honda makes black lugs too? But you just have to order them from the S2K CR right?

BTW, the projectors are looking sick!

How do you know it was your old car? Was it lowered still with those ugly wheels?

I know the license plate by heart, also it had those ugly wheels and blacked headlight housing.

Anyone know if the Legend 2-piston calipers will bolt right onto my bracket or will I have to also use the Legend bracket to make it work?
