Hey Val I may be joining your TSX crew soon LOL....If i get a promotion at work i will be able to move into these apartments with two garages like a condo and im thinking on getting a tsx as a commuter car since they save more gas then the TL

 

TSX's vtec kicks in at 6k..... lameness ..... Reflash lowers it to 5k and rev limiter is set to 7600 rpms.

Sure, man, get a TSX. I love mine after all the things I have done to it, like speakers and pulleys. Now I am breaking between k-pro and reflash. And I mean really really breaking....

 

for the J32A2 (type s engine code), VTEC hits at 4800 RPM.

4800 rpms isnt bad at all compared to 6000. I have been posting on "another website" lately dudes there are less tensed and less agressive than here. Mods are cool

 

on my engine vtec kicks in at 4900
but uhmmm TSX arent THAT much better on gas than TLs are they? Isnt it 1 or 2 MPG only

Officially TSX got 28 MPG highway, but mine did 30-31. What is it on TL? and now its like 35 with all the mods.


Exactly ! I stopped dating and spent a grand on my car the following month ! Now saving up for that magical K-PRO !!!

 

MY TL seems like its 18 on city and 21 on HWY i need MPG mods. Pulleys headers and NGK irdium spark plugs

 

TSX does 19-22 city depending on the driving manners, but dooood..... 21 HIGHWAY !? r u serious?

 

thats what it seems like maybe 23-34 i need to get spark plugs though i think it will help a little plus the headers and the pulleys

 

I dono about sparks. I read reviews and they say its BS, but headers and pulleys do add MPG

 

The 3g TLs are rated at 19/28

I've been getting 21 MPG lately and during long drives I get at least 29-30 MPG freeway

 

My average is 23.5-24. On a hwy I manage to get to 36.5-37 according to my navi, so its roughly 33-35 in reality. Gearing really helps

Well, if I drive like val, my fuel warning light shows up at 270-290. Otherwise I easily last till 320 with 2-3 gallons left in the tank

 

My fuel light comes on around 245-250 i really need to see what is up with my car

Miles 78600 somewhere around there. I use ummm 91 premium the only thing in EG

 

Thats weird. The car is too young to guzzle fuel u need to have it checked.
