Install Shop for suspension

Hey yall,

Im thinking of putting in some springs and shocks soon on my '05 TL. I'm looking for a place in the bay (peninsula / southbay) to get them installed. I got a quote for $600 yesterday at a local shop. I thought that was pretty high. It's been a while since I was in the scene since i sold my '99 Prelude back in '03.

Any help would be appreciated.

Butch

He does great work and he's Honda Certified Technician. I've been going to him for over 5 years now and i travel from the Hayward/Castro Valley area. He's fair in his prices and gets things done right. I go and trust him for everything that has to do with my car!
Tell him that Brandon with the 1st gen CL sent you!

^ since he's certified, does that mean he's allowed to do warranty work? i heard there are certified techs outside of dealerships who are allowed to do warranty work.

not quite sure to be honest with you. you can always shoot him a message to find out. my car is so old that i don't think there was a warranty on it so it never crossed my mind, but for those of you with the newer cars it would be something to ask about.

and Tech3 is good, that's where Winston used to work, I spend almost my whole summer over there when Winston was working there, but now he has his own spot just about a mile down the road.

Thanks for the leads yall. I'm going to call them to quote me prices as soon as they get delivered.

Also, is this forum ok for me to post photo opporunities for you guyz? I'm a semi pro photog in the bay. I mainly shoot sports but have done cars in the past. i'd love to capture a few rides to build a portfolio. Ofcourse I'm not charging for this. I've linked an old link of cars I've captured. Very old work, but I know I can do better. Let me know.

email is the best way to reach Winston. If he doesn't get right back to you its because there's a good reason. He will always get back to you, let him know that either myself (Brandon) or Chris referred you. Just be patient, he can get pretty busy with big projects where he's not able to step away and check email. Hope that helps.

Winston did the install for my Teins SS and height adjustments Butch. Definitely give him a call. Tech3 does good work too. Get a quote from both and go from there. Either way, they'll do good work.

i could be wrong but i have heard that paul and sunny had a falling out and winston is back at tech 3....not sure the validity of this rumor, but if its true, it could explain his lack of a response.
