I bought a 2001 CL Type-S January, 2011 and fell in love with the car. Unfortunately, it was stolen April 2015. Liability insurance only. Discovered this forum trying to troubleshoot engine shutting off while driving. Turned out to be the main solenoid, thanks guys. Took me til October 2016 before I found a 2002 CL TYPE-S. I just couldn't settle on any other car, though I test drove many. I couldn't find another car I enjoyed driving as much.
As luck would have it, I rear-ended another vehicle a couple months ago. Fortunately, i took out full coverage on it. Progressive totalled it, only paid out $4250. Had replaced the radiator, hoses, front tires last December, 2 year old Duracell AGM battery, did brake job front and rear, new silicone wipers, last summer, a year ago. It's taken over two months of hard looking and a lot of patience, and finally found a 2003 CL Type-S with a manual 6 speed transmission, 132,000 miles, like the others it's black on black. Wasn't settling for anything else given the notorious auto transmission problems, which i experienced only on the 2002. Was able to correct the dreaded shutter by tips from the forum. Going to pick it up this week.
Call me crazy, or a die hard, but there's no other vehicle out there I care to own. Knowing parts are getting more and more difficult to acquire, so many discontinued from the factory.
Anyway, I have maybe post once or twice, gain a great deal of solutions from Acurizine, and I greatly appreciate this site. Thanks to you all, keep up the outstanding work. Can't tell you how many times yall helped me out.

I know what it's like to love a platform so much so, that it warrants experiencing the same vehicle multiple times. I look forward to seeing a picture of the car when you obtain it. Do you have pictures of your previous ones?
