Hello

Greetings and Salutations

October 2020 - just purchased a 2005 Acura TL Base 6 MT. I have owned mostly Hondas over the course of my life and I am thrilled to be back in the fold. This car is replacing my daily driver 2011 Subaru Impreza sedan that I gave to my 15 1/2 year old daughter. I also own a 2007 Subaru Legacy spec.B and a 2014 Yamaha FZ-09. Cheers!

The TL that I got has 115K miles, was purchased from the original owner, and had major service, including timing belt, clutch and flywheel, three years and ~24K miles ago. I paid $6K for it and feel like I won the lottery!

I learned that all 6mt versions came with larger sway bars, a limited slip differential, and larger Brembo front brakes compared to the automatics. Sweet!

Welcome! That sounds like a nice find, congratulations.

Buuuuut... Need pics of the Spec.B please.

When I started shopping for my mommy mobile, I was looking for one (lol, like 3 in the country for sale at the time) before trying to find an Outback XT, and then ultimately giving up and bought the sadwagon.

The car in this article is the car I bought. The article is from 2016 and I bought the car for $12K in 2018. I plan to keep it and the Acura foe evahhhh. Yup.
