Racecar was a totaled 04 TL 6 speed. Front is bent a little but to the left so helps turn lol. 80k mile car. Got a 1st and 2nd in heats and a 3rd and 2md in feature before clutch went. Getting a stage 3 installed now and be back out next weekend with it

That is awesome! sounds like its doing a pretty good job. Open exhaust? Id say header but these have precats instead of manifolds. If so Im curious on how it sounds. Good choice on the clutch, from what Ive read the transmissions are pretty strong you might want to switch to GM syncromesh for fluid though. Good luck

Still has the cats but has a J pipe then open. Not too loud until you open her up. Gotta put a 2 1/4 exhaust pipe on to comply with rules at one of the tracks i race. Gonna do the slave cylinder mod too with the new clutch so it should do even better

That’s a great idea. I just took out the check valve on my new one just need to install it. That car should do pretty well, at the track here I see a lot of neons n other 4 bangers

Used to be neons and probes but now its RSX and preludes winning all the time. Someone had an automatic TL last year and won some races so I figured a 6 speed should kick butt. I also have a 90 Integra for my back up car that i got 4th with last Saturday

Man that sounds like a lot of fun! I had an 05 focus that would've been perfect, 2.3 with a 5 speed. Good luck with the car, post a video of it next time you race if you can.
