Question Vinyl Overlays?

Anyone know where I can get my roof done? I just wanna black it out with a gloss black. I had a contact in the boston area but seemed to have misplaced their information...anyways if you know anyone or can point me in the right direction it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have an excellent guy down in CT although it might be too far for you, he can vinyl wrap just about anything and does great quality work. Information is www.endlessdetails.com

The 3M 1080 scotchprint is real easy to work with. Definitely use that stuff. No solution is needed. I plan to do mine myself (an extra set of hands might help, though).

Just have to get around to washing and claying the roof first...

Where did you get the vinyl from, and is it one piece? let me know I'm trying to do this asap!

Taylor at TaGi designs in East Bridgewater did my roof recently at the beginning of June for around $200. I took off the antenna and roof trim for him though, just to make it perfect. He's a great guy to work with, can hold conversation well, and does a very good job at what he does. Definitely worth the long trip down to Bridgewater. Phone number is 781-733-WRAP and tell him that Vinay sent you.

One piece. I've always ordered vinyl from metrorestyling.com.

5 ft x 5 ft piece is $80 shipped. (w/ code summer10 it's $72 shipped)

Also just found a good price at autovinylsolutions.com.

5 ft x 5 ft for $64 shipped.

Try looking at some youtube videos to get an idea. Obviously, they'll make it seem easier than it actually is, but it will still help you gauge how easy/difficult it is. Definitely helps to have a second pair of hands.

If you don't mind me asking what'd he charge for the roof? I'm willing to drive out there if the price is right....

I e-mailed blue batmobile for some tailight overlays. The light tint, not the dark tint though. Don't want it too dark, but a slight tint would look sweet. Anybody have pictures of light tailight tint?

I plan on wrapping my own roof but i cant figure how to remove the antenna. Can you do a DIY on the antenna and trim removal? thanks!

they way we install is we make a slit above the antenna when overlay is placed. then slowly work antenna through and trim off excess .
