Schumacher hat

OK, so I walked by this hat at Randy Owens' stand at the Indycar race at the Glen last weekend no less than 3 times before I went back and bought it. Schu's mechanics get them signed and are allowed to do with them what they please. I don't like MS but there will never be another 7 time WC in F1 and thought it'd be cool to pass down to my nephew Brendan someday, the 8 y.o. F1 maniac!

7 slashes for 7 Championships!

I think the hat is too busy, and I've lost much respect for Schumacher over the years. So why are you corrupting your nephew, unless he's already a Schumcaher fan?

He loves Schumacher and particularly, Ferrari. I agree, the hat has all kinds of stuff on it but in a case, who cares? I like the 7 slashes on the bill though. I lost all respect for MS in 96 when he tried taking Hill off the road in Australia so he could win, ditto 97. There is no denying he is the world's best driver though.

Whether you like him or hate him, I think it was a good buy Chief.

I didn't tell you what I paid . . . . "only" 195 plus tax. You're right, not too bad!

It boggles the mind how much a simple hat with some scribble on it can be worth. What is a Randy Owens stand btw?

Randy is the artist who does the USGP posters every year. I have one of his prints called "Ferrari/Ferrari" showing Mansell/Prost in 641's and another print called "Homecoming" which is JV's first trip to Canada in a Williams w/ the geodesic bubble in the background which is near the track.
