J.V. in 2004

O.K my Canadian buddies, and you F1 freaks, where will J.V. be racing next year. No way he's back at BAR, so what other team would he be interested that will pay that big salary he'll want ? I'd love to see him race for Pollock at PKR here, but i'm sure that's beneath him

Pollock already trashed his friend's career, why stop at F1? Not so sure JV will be willing to take a step downward on the F1 grid either just for the sake of running (a la Jordan or Jag) but you never know. Put him in Toyota for a year to help them get the car sorted. Works for me!

He hasn't helped sort out the BAR car, why would Toyota think he'd be helpful ? I still think he should have taken the Players offer to do CART this year and win some races, get his confidence back and then return to F1. Oh well.

I was at Borders yesterday and i saw an article about J.V. and they said they wouldn't be surprised to see him back at BAR if he takes a pay cut.

JV has said the talk about him being at Ferrari next year is "ridiculous." Big surprise. Schuey sez JV isn't a good enough driver to be there too! Whatta prick! JV also sez he expects to be in a top team next year. I just wonder who it will be? Toyota have their drivers (just re-signed Panis/DeMatta); Ferrari-set; Renault? doubtful. McLaren OTOH could be a small possibility, he could take his good friend's seat (DC). Any ideas?

DC's seat at McLaren is the only drive for a top team that is even close to being open next year. If he dosen't re-up with BAR, he's done.

JV wouldn't even answer a question posed to him before the German GP that asked if he thought Schumacher could/would win the title this year. Said he didn't have an answer and when pressed, got pissed. He does need a big slice of humble pie true dat.

All kinds of J.V. rumors floating around like him finishing for Ralf and Sato running the BAR in Japan.

Saw something this morning about Richards proposing a "shootout" between several drivers for the seat next year.

JV declined. Don't know what he said, but he had to be thinking "when hell freezes over".

He's running out of options. I'd still like to see him in CART

I'm a major JV fan (WAS I should say) and I'd like to see him driving something but the problem of course is he'd end up in a Jag or Jordan or something at the bottom tier and just add insult to injury. Time's up, get the f*&k out JV.

I agree Chief, he's not gonna be on a top rung team so he might as well drive for Forsythe next year, or Pollock.
