Favorite all time driver ?
There have been so many drivers that i loved to watch, but it would have to be Senna for me with Zanardi a close 2nd. My favorite American driver is Scott Pruett.

I was gonna put Gilles on my list too
another name I think I'd add would be Hans Stuck.

Prost (smooth, analytical); Mansell (tough, charger);
JV (quiet, but tough-not a bad guy in person either); Montoya (unbelievable car control); and as much as I almost hate to admit, Schumacher (best damn driver ever)
I used to love watching the old GTP/O series, especially at Watkins Glen. Stuck, Pruett, Holbert, Juan Fangio, Bell, fantastic.

Tazio Nuvolari (incredible endurance, boldness, tactics, great personality, very passionate [Italian])
Michael Schumacher (excellent car control, unbelievable consistency, cold personality though)
Ayrton Senna (opposite of Schumacher personality wise, a great driver, actually outdrove Schumacher on a few occasions)

You are right on. Senna owned F1 when he raced with McLaren/Honda. He has records that will never be broken.

Honda was considered unbeatable, and they were tired of winning so they came to the US and Started a CART team. Schumacher and ferrari have no competition in F1. The drivers continue to migrate over to the US. Even so, they will NEVER touch what McLaren/Honda did in F1.
