I don't know if I even want to waste my time reading this. After all, it's from the same magazine that put Danica in their top ten list of American non-NASCAR drivers.

I read it,...two points of view,...one for each being harder.

I think most here will agree F1 is harder. I think SI is stupid to have even come up with such a comparison.

A MUCH better comparison would be the top WRC drivers VS F1 drivers,...or something like that.

The F1 to Nascar competition is an easy analogy to me.

Nascar is softball and F1 is baseball.

Nascar comes at you slower and has a bigger sweet spot but you still have to be a incredibly good batter to be the best in the world at hitting a softball.

F1 comes at you like a 98mph fastball or a nasty slider, getting it right takes hand eye coordination usually reserved for a machine.

Although I have more sports "hate" for JPM than Senna and Hunt combined, One Problem Montoilet has shown he can drive the beasts, although the Mexico win was a road track, in the Busch series and populated with a lot of non-regular (road track ringers) he put on an absolute clinic in that last stint after the unexpected pit stop due to a fueling error. I can't remember such a complete shaming of a field in a long long time. Though I generally hate "Nascab" I look forward to the road course races seeing how JPM stacks up against the Gordans and Stewart.

Racing Socialism (aka NASCAR) has a lot of draw for the ADD race fans but for me the strategy, speed, skill and technology of F1 just does it for me and has for 31 years now.
