3G with 4G drivetrain? (Part Two)

Is there any way I can preserve the body of my 2004? The body is not even bad just needs minor cosmetic work. OG Transmission is bad and I want to take the OG 3.2 and put it into a 2007 Accord EXL V6 for $500. So it'll just leave me with the Acura Body. I found a couple crashed 4G TL's. One is a 2010 model with the 3.5 with the 5 speed auto, and the other is a 2014 SH-AWD with the 3.5 and 6 speed auto. But I don't want AWD. So my question is hypothetically, which drivetrain is better and more importantly, what all do I need from the crashed car to make this work?

This is my 04 TL. Trans went out, barely wants to go into reverse, so i left it parked.

that seems so backwards why wouldn’t you do what literally everyone else does and get the trans from the accord and put it into the TL?

Because the Honda exterior and interior is 10/10, because it has 152k with a blown 3.0l. While My 3G TL has a trashy interior that has 300k on the body with a blown trans. And I want to rebuild both the 3G TL and the Accord, just my opinion.

2010 Drivetrain has 140k, while the 2014 has 135k.

wait for a 4G 2012+ FWD 3.5L TL and you will be way happier. The 3.7L burns oils and kills cams in the 4G.

2012+ gets 6spd auto vs 5spd auto for 2009-2011 tl's. Mid 2012 TL got an updated 2-stage torque converter too.

Don't waste money on the 3G or the accord unless you have the spare time. 3.2L into accord should work, but will be marginally faster than you TL was for lots of $$$. Plus the accord body might be in worse shape if it's rusted.

Don't forget the control arm bushings and other wear and tear items.
