Might be a tad early on financials, but I :heart: commodities for longer term inflation hedge.

I'm looking at adding a USO position once it changes its downward direction. This Point & Figure chart (http://stockcharts.com/webcgi/Pnf.asp?S=USO) highlights the downward movement. Hopefully there's support at 27- otherwise 20-21 is a real possibility.

I would be a buyer as soon as USO breaks to a column of X's but no sooner than that. The on-balance-volume also looks weak using a Sharp Chart and that adds to my concern on this one. With this economy the way it is the only thing I'm halfway excited about are plays like DXD at the moment.

 

Might be a tad early, true.... But I had an urge.

Just made moves on FAS and UYG. SKF put some money in the bank.

All i'll say is if there is a bounce in financials, take your profit. If that bounce comes, charts say it will only be a correction and then back down we go.

 

DXO is interesting too as a spec oil play
