Tax Returns this year

Hey guys, I filed my taxes for this year and my refund was less than last year, PLUS I made more money this year lol. Federal refund was like 17xx and california refund was 40 <-- Good enough for a fill-up and a half heh. Who here is paying bills and who here is using theirs to buy new goodies?
If Angelito and Noah is lurking somewhere, we're going to be a nice rolling set of CLs Ya know what i mean

Yea...that's what i'm trying to avoid this year. Applying everything on credit and that's when the depression kicks in haha. Save the money and set it aside, then when you have enough do the purchase! More rewarding in my opinion instead of getting raped by interest.
I'm doing like 500 every check for my tuition for school. So far I have ..... $500 lol

I only have one credit card, and its a corporate account. So everything I buy I have to pay outright.

dang, what do you do at 20 that gets you a corporate card? Haha. In your case I guess it doesn't even matter about the card since you have to pay it up front anwyays

I work for a major computer manufacturer. They gave me it last year around this time because they were shipping me around the southeast. They never asked for it back and my manager said just hold onto it.

If I get a refund...

I'm going to replace my rear bumper and fix some issues with the rear suspension.

I'm expecting around $2K and most of that will go towards plane tickets and some furniture. We need to replace a 52 in Mitsubishi (POS) LCD sometime in the near future and I hope to save at least a couple hundred to help with that.

And I only made about $2k more this year than last year, and my tax refund is something like $500 less than last years'. Anyone care to explain that?

Guys...if you're getting a huge refund (like over $1k), you may want to consider adjusting your W2.

It's your money, why loan it to the gov't?

OK..I gotta ask. Why in the hell do you guys let the government use your money interest free? Because that is what you are doing. You need to adjust your withholding to make it so it breaks even or you pay a little at the end of the year. Again..why the fuck should they have your money, and you have to wait for a refund to get it back, and with NO INTEREST!!!???!!!

Better be getting something nice back, but the way taxes have been going, the more i make the more they take, hopefully all the interest i paid on my mortgage will account for something papa needs some summer tires

I keep my withholding at 5 or 6 for that very reason, I'd rather owe a bit, hoping they owe me this year though
