So over the weekend I found out that, I had a sticky/stuck drivers side rear brake caliper that kept rubbing my brake pad against the rotor causing the rotor to overheat . No problem though, took the brake caliper and brake pads off. Went to get a new brake caliper, brake pads, brake fluid,some high temp grease, & got to work. Got everything on, greased everything real good, & bleed the brakes. Went out for a test drive & everything seems normal again. Went to go do my core exchange and now I'm just waiting for it to finish pending .

Yeah, unfortunately I had my car all ready to go. But on the way back from the store, I came home to some loud brake rubbing rotor really bad noise. So I just canceled my MNSC plans. Other than that it's all fixed now . Feels great when you DIY.

 

I had a good time at RK tonight. I met hammer for the first time and his girl he has a very nice TL super clean. It was nice to meet them. It was also great to see Mr White heat Travis. That boy is al muscle now. He wants to get the White Heat up and going again I told him to set a date we can go do an install meet at his place.

I just did the accord fog install on Sunday...what a pain! But so worth it! Now I'm on to finding this creek or "crackle" that happens at about 0-10 mph and I'm pretty sure is the front sway bar bushing. Anyone had this or know someone who has? I've been searching on here for ever

Welcome on board . We just had a few guys get together at the MSC meet last weekend. You should come to the next one. I suggest you check this thread out on a weekly or daily basis then you know what is going on. I think 07TL-S wanted to do a get together on the 20th.

Well, after my second run-in with Johnny Law this morning...I guess I should put my front license plate on the car now.

I don't want to mount it in the center of the front bumper, rather off to the side. Have any of you bought a custom bracket that allows you to do this? I've seen some on eBay but I wanted to see if anyone recommends one brand or the other.

 

Jorge you can't really be suprised about Jake not being able to go he probably asked his girlfriend if he could go and she said no. And as we all know Jake's GF has the balls in this relationship in fact here is how the conversation probably went.

Jake: Honey there is a big meeting of Acura enthusiasts in Kansas City next month and I really want to go with these guys I have met a handful of times on the internet.

Jake's GF: I don't know money is a little tight and you have to figure on food, lodging and fuel to get there. It will be a $200-$400 trip to see a bunch of people you met on the internet.

Jake: It won't be that much gas prices have come down and the car gets 30 mpg. I'll watch what I eat to keep food expenses down. Lastly Jorge and I were going to split a hotel room so that makes it even cheaper.

Well I tried to use a measuring tape on the back window of my car and it was difficult due to the curvature of the glass but it is a trapezoid shape and is about 46" at the top, 52" at the bottom and 28" from the top highest point to the bottom lowest point. Again these are just rough measurements I took and are not super precise.
