I think he means they might not line up cause of the factory side skirts. you would have to show us pictures of what your looking at. I don't want no riced-out TL Razzi.

Just got my registration confirmation back along with my number. Looks like I will be #320, as in 3.20L. My old race number of 26 was taken, so I had to figure something else out.

So is anyone else going to join me? Or am I just going to get smoked by an army of Miatas, Subarus and Mitsubishi Evos? One of you bitches has to man up! I'm looking to see what Dan has in the corners...

I'm in! I will register soon (maybe when I get my car back in one piece, so I know I have something to run lol).

Apparently I did not get the intake manifold gasket they need to do the valve job. I am going to tell them to just reuse the old one for now. If it gives me problems i can change it myself. Shop also says I got the wrong part for upper strut mounts. Time to send something back to the ether that is the internet.

This all equates to Dan spending more time without a car...dammit.

Have your mom make some eggrolls and sell them at school. If they are as good as you say, you could get it together...

Besides, you dont really NEED a rear bumper, they are just there for show...

Hey, I just received more information, for example, http://forum.mnautox.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8709

And, I found out you don't have to take the school in order to race, so if anyone wants to run, the first weekend of May they are running at Valley Fair in Shakopee. If I can't get out there I may go just to see what's going on and the way things are run.

Oh yeah, and the races the first weekend of May are $35 each day. It is actually two events, one on Saturday, one on Sunday.

You can sign up for the school or not, but the first event of the year is the first weekend in May and I am planning on at least going to it if I cannot get registered.

I am already signed up for the school, so I am definitely going to do that, I can always become a better driver...

Hey, when I was in college I had to put a new motor in the car that I had only had for four days. So, be happy that it is just a bumper, headlight, tires, and a squeaky suspension because it could be a series of four replacement motors that you have to buy at $4K a pop.

Maybe you should get a job at a bar as a server and make some real money?

And I'll line up for the bodacious Asian girls, just don't know about going to church. I might get struck by lightning on the threshold...

Not sure if any are made for the car specifically. I know someone on the boards made them himself so that might be the answer.

And Ken, I don't want churchgoing bodacious asian girls, they will be too concerned with that "going to hell" crap.

i meant dan, not josh

and here is the bumper im thinkin of. it costs about the same as an oem, and i can sell my rear lip for like 75 bucks or something. and get that thing painted for the same cost as an unpainted oem
*puts on flame shield*

it fits the rear a better and makes it look full. it looks so skinny with the stuff i have now. i'll probably put in material to fill in the square exhaust slots to make it rounder, flush with the stuff i have now. or i can go oem and be one with the crowd. comments?

It's decent looking, and I think it would match up pretty well with the side skirts it looks like.

It looks like the side skirts on there are OEM, so I think you would be good to go.

You take classes at night? You need to change that shit and get a job that pays.

Do we need to get you a backup camera too? Dang man.

And Jorge - When are those pics coming? I PM'ed you my addy and haven't seen them

We should just post them on MSPAcura - may be easier than e-mailing them (not sure what size they are)

Hey - I suppose I will have to search, but anyone (Black TL from Blaine......) know how hard it is to put on the UR pulley on the 3G? There is one for sale in the BM for $150 shipped and I'm seriously considering it. The pulleys I have put on were right up front and easy to get to. Not sure if it makes it any tougher when our motors are cocked 90

George and I are getting ours installed this weekend (fri or sat), if you can get it overnighted, we can get you in on it, I bet. George worked a smokin deal with someone he knows and we are getting a bulk discount.

Razzi, you are going to have a dashboard looking like an F-22 with all the screens you need. Let's see, a GPS, a backup camera, what's next? Side cameras? A DVD player?

Come to think of it, it would look pretty damn cool to have a GPS mounted in the dash above a HUGE touch screen LCD carputer with an integrated reverse web-cam. Damn! I think I just figured out Razzi's next mod!

I dont know man, the way it's going we are going to have pretty much all of the bolt on stuff done by the end of the year.

That is unless I get too tied up in the autocross thing or buy those OZ Racing wheels that I have been drooling over for so long.

But, once I finish with the bolt ons, I want to tear into that motor and really build it up, I don't know how I am going to sell that to the wife though...

Hey, i assume you are talking about me with the pulley. if the deal for pulley is still available? By all means get it! You will not regret it. Just make sure you have the right tools for the job which i'm sure you have. Getting to the stock pulley will be easy BUT, getting it off will PITA. I got mine done @ Artistry automotive a couple of Saturdays ago. Only cost me $100, damn good deal in my opinion.
