Hey guys, I need your opinions/experience/expertise - it's that time of year again & cops are out w/eyes peeled. Here's my question -- I have received two tint tickets in the past couple years on the TL. What happens when/if I get a 3rd? Anything? I've never received a 'fix it' ticket for it, but I'm just wondering if there's a more severe penalty if I get sited a 3rd time. I don't want to remove the tint unless I absolutely have to.

 

am sure there is but i don't really know, it might be a more as simple as more $$ or even worse.

as for the meet on the 11th ill try to make it, but i might be out of town that week.

 

nope, i think nothing would happen...got a ticket for window tint, then talked to the person who work in the city hall, they said it wouldnt affect the record due its not moving violation. And she said i can get as many window tint tickets if cops give me one

Anybody know where I can get my Eibachs installed. I was given a number for one guy, but he's in coon rapids, which is a bit of drive since I live on the east side. If anyone knows somewhere closer, let me know. Thanks!

 

I am looking to get my exhaust next week (ordered today!!) and was thinking about calling up Jorge to see if the shop was available on that weekend to mount it up. This looks like it would be a good day to do the install and also have some burgers/brats with all of the guys.

I'll be changing the brake fluid for some hi-temp ATE Blue DOT4 on Sunday, and then the next step would be a front sway bar before the 2009 autocross season starts up.

Yup, sold my TL type S last fall and bought an 08 STi in Feb.

 

I added some of you facebook I'm Kyle Janowiec. Saw a 2nd gen TL Type-S on 35W in Blaine today a couple of hours ago I was riding there tail was that any of you lol. It was from Buerkle and had tints and a spoiler.

 

that reminds me, i got in a race with a cl-s last weekend, it was crazy.. he had a manuel trans, and um, debadged back.. and it was fast.. and my car is still slower than normal, cuz of the intake sucking in some water i think.. but he was doing 120 or 30 at least, and getting there damn fast.. and it was raining and he just kept going, but i kept up for a while.

 

bring it on over on the 11th. we'll do josh's exhaust and your springs at the same time. there will be a cost however. you'll have to feed us.

we did a member here last winter i think, took about 3 hours with fiddling around, not having the right tools and frost bitten fingers. i think dan was bleedin, my arms were sore and josh's head was giving off steam.

seeing as i'm the only one inside on a friday night, i decided to keep posting. i went back from page 1 and decided to PM every single person who has ever posted in this thread and hasn't responded to the meet info yet.

well along the way i ran into some pretty cool things. page 4 or 5 was our first meet. around page 18 i lost my rear bumper that i said i'd fix in a month, still havent. also said i'd tint, never did. around page 34 was when my habits of bitching out was noticed by josh. page 44 was when dan left us. damn it's been a while. nitro's car got hit on page 49. Brian also bought a truck. Brian contemplates buying wheels on page 50. nerds start talking about about carputers on page 60. josh gets rims on 61. glow got his a-spec kit on 84. wannabeG comes on at 85 and starts defiling our forum with nissans. matt gets mugen grill on 87. wannabeG gets his comeuppance on page 96.

a lot of people hasn't checked in for a long time. maybe if they see 20 acuras rolling around it'll remind them to visit acurazine. there's also a couple of modded acuras on my campus so i'll see if i can get a hold of them before the 11th.

if only i was this motivated my business statistics...
