Hi guys. Recently one of my headlamps went out in my tsx, and instead of taking it to the dealer I bought a new set off the net. I have changed bulbs on other cars before, but discovered that this one is much more involved than my novice skills are willing to risk. Hoping there's someone on here in my area who has done this before and would like to make some quick $$$. I could drive to you of course, so you would probably be able to just walk out onto your driveway/street and do the job. PM me if you fit the bill.

You bought a brand new headlight because it went out? or did you buy a new bulb? Changing bulbs is fairly simple, if I lived closer i'd do it for you unless you want to drive to Cloquet. If it's anything like the TL you'll have to drop the bumper for easier access to the back of the housing, twist off the cap, twist off the pigtail of the ballast and swap bulbs.

 

Just the bulb. Probably should reword that. I immediately ran into trouble trying to take off the rubber weather sealer
