^^^ well until this morning they said we were gonna get 0 inches...it was supposed to be sunny....
damn weather people !!!
Tyler: powder-coating rims adds weight....around the lines of 1-1.5lbs /rim depending on how many coats you go for....if you go for 2 coats on the inner barrel and 3 outside and a clear, you will add a good 1.5lbs per rim
also you dont wanna powdercoat forged rims...will make the rims weaker

Have fun with that. I don't know about down there, but we are supposed to get an accumulation of snow Sat night/ Sun morning. If that is the case I doubt they are gonna want people racing on a slick ass track.

LOL, yeah a huge shout out to Anil for that, we got that done and they look awesome!!
Btw, has anyone else experienced any heating problems? I have cranked my heater all the way and no heat is coming! I found some threads with this info:
"In the engine compartment, there's a cable that goes through the firewall (i.e. into the passenger compartment). You can reach it from the passenger side. This cable has a plastic cover that retracts and extends and has something to do with the heating. When it "sticks", you won't get heat. I just wiped it with a damp paper towel to get rid of the accumulated dirt and retracted/extended it to loosen it up and then I got heat. Some people put WD-40 on it, but I didn't bother."
Have any one of you experienced this?

I'm not worried about the temperature, it's just I don't want new wheels/coils driving in snow salted roads.

Hey fellas just checking in from Columbia, MO (CoMo). Was curious if any of you were planning to attend the meet in Blue Springs on May 18th I believe? Matt & Anil specifically plus anyone else in proximity that is down...it looks like you guys are calling it IFO, I've heard it called KC2K13. Hoping to have the wheels back on in the next month, looking forward to Fast Fridays, Acurazine , and ALL the other upcoming shows this year!!! Seth

It looks like you are thinking of 2 different things. KC2k13 is 5/18 like you said, but IFO (Import Face Off) is in Wichita the following day. IFO was supposed to be last sun 3/24 but got pushed back because of the snow
As far as what KC2k13 is, I have no idea and have never been. From what I understand its probably just an organized street race with very fast cars. I will not be in town on that weekend, we have to drive to Coffeyville KS for my GF family. I will possibly be at IFO since I will be closer to Wichita than to KC.
Also if anyone hasn't seen the thread for the Nat'l meet, it is up now. Don't forget to register for any/all activities you plan on attending. For all you guys that don't think you have a shot at winning anything you should still pay the registration for the giveaways/prizes.

Abdul and Anil, It could possibly be the outside air temp sensor on the fritz too.... I remember deathmetal determining that as a factor a while ago for his issues with the heat... might want to PM him about...

Weather is getting nicer, when we gonna hang fellas? We need to do a mod day sometime soon.
Anyone know when the first FF is this season? I don't have FB so I can't see when it is planned.
Looks like it is going to be 4/19 for the first date. I'll be there, who's coming with me?

Fast Fridays at KC Trends this coming Friday, the 19th, come one, come all. Probably getting a bite to eat before or after. It will be chilly, so dress accordingly so you don't have any excuses to bail out early.
