You know I could always use your help haha I usually browse the forums at least once a day, read anything I need to know, then log off. I don't have that much time to post my every thought like some of you

Looks like you got your hands full, though, as per usual. No worries on the buff. I'll make do before the meet. I don't expect to win anything anyways

^^^

I am really good at multitasking at work....ATL + TAB = my best friend

wash the car and throw a layer of wax on the car...that will help hide the swirls...

when I get back, we can do your headlights before the meet....headlights take 10 minutes and I just got some AWESOME headlight SEALANT at Home Depot....just cover some material cost and will hook you up....

after the meet, on a free weekend, we can spend time, washing/clay-ing/compound/polish/seal the car....yes it takes a good day and half to two days to finish detailing the full outside and inside of the car....

I'll bring you some beer and chicken too haha just hit me up when you have some time. I won't be participating in the Saturday activities, as I've got some other obligations, so maybe just Sunday morning at the meet we can buff the headlights real quick?

Have fun in Vegas! And you know, what happens there stays there...

Abdul, got the spar high gloss utherane and mineral spirit....i think I have enough to do 5-6 cars...spend like 30 bucks on that shizz !!! I have some plastic X and sandpaper...

Last time the results were awesome but the sealant gave away after a month or so....from what I hear the spar utherane should seal it for a much longer time...

Dave, beer works just fine

With so much to do I may not even get to detail the interior of my car at all. Luckily the outside is dipped which should keep the attention there.

It's possible. I may have already hit my quota on the number of head turns I've already gotten just this week alone.

^^^ haha, good point. Well, looking forward to seeing it on Sunday.

Oh, I forgot to tell you guys, I tried Meguiars scratch remover yesterday on the scrathes on the hood and most of them came off. My arms were tired afterwards but it worked. Planning on spending more time later in the summer to do the TL and the TSX to remove some more scratches!

Yeah I'll be doing most of the prepping tomorrow evening or Saturday morning. I won't be able to participate in any of the other events except for the meet on Sunday. Got a softball tournament Saturday afternoon, and then going to Waldo Crawldo Saturday night, so I'll probably be hung over come Sunday

You're killing me smalls

But you're right. Softball tournament has been reschedule multiple times due to rain, so it was never planned for this weekend initially. And I've never been to this Pub Crawl, so I chose it over go-carts. I'll still be at the main event Sunday

Though tonight/tomorrow morning is the only time I have free to prep my car. Need to adjust dampening again, adjust suspension, put in rear seats, fix wheel center caps, maybe fix lower grill, wash/wax, etc.

I know I'll be missing out on a lot of pics and fun. Wish I could clone myself...

Fast Fridays June 29th @ KC Trendz

Yup, a new thread for Kansas City people! This has to be the first in how long (aside from national meet related)?

So, who wants to do Fast Friday June 29th? Maybe we can get our first organized Acura group showing! Maybe grab an adult beverage afterwards, or Sheridan's for ice cream!

Merged your post in here Eric. All the KC guys know where to look and when we try to meet up. I like to keep it tidy in here, to prevent less confusion. One thread to rule them all

You just wanted to make a big deal about the first (and only) FF you are attending this year

Hello fellow Mid-West Aziners. I just realized something. I noticed the location of some of the members (under their avi) it said Kansas City, KS or MO. Confused the hell out of me. I did not even know there were 2 Kansas Cities right on the border of both states. At first I thought it was just one big city (1 half in one state an the other half in the other state). It was just something I noticed, but I could see how it would cause some confusion. Didn't wanna make a thread on it, so I posted in here. Thanks again.

No, I thinks somebody is a little anal.

I'm sure there a lot of new people that don't want to read 47 pages of 2-year old chatter to learn when we might be getting together. That's why I started a new thread. It is acceptable, it happens everyday in all the other forums.

And Steve even said I could so

You don't have to read 47 pages, you can just read the last page to keep up.

This is the KC MEET/Chat thread, if people can't decifer what we talk about in here then they probably won't find their way to these "meets".

You aren't the first one confused. They are about ~20 miles apart from each other. As far as which one was "founded" first, I don't know the history on.

That is crazy. ~20 miles apart. That's pretty close for 2 cities with the same name.

No one goes to KC, KS (except me, that's where my job is) its not a very nice city. KC, MO is MUCH bigger in size and population so people around here never really confuse the two.

David (Dude)-when someone says, "I'm from Kansas City", most people think "Kansas" because the word Kansas in in the name.

Like Matt said, the more "desirable" area of the metroplex is Kansas City, Missouri.

Guys, I'm leaving for an Alaskan Cruise on June 20th. I'll be back on the 28th (the Friday of Fast Fridays). Obviously, I'm not going to be able to make it. But have a good time!
