Hi guys, I'm back from my vacation. I took the family on an Alaskan Cruise. We had a fantastic time. I'll be posting pictures on Sunday.

Sorry I couldn't make Fast Fridays. We literally pulled in to Kansas City-DannyZ texted me and invited me to join you guys. But we had to go get Ginger in Liberty that night. And I don't think my wife would appreciate it if I dropped off our luggage and jumped in the car and ran out to KC Trends......

Anyway, thank you Dan for the text and the invite (as opposed to our Midwest Chapter Leader......LOL!).

I'll catch the next one in 2 weeks.

It was a huge disappointment lol we couldn't do it, but props to Anil for attempting to help. Atleast you got some free beer out of the whole thing . We snapped one of the first bolts we tried to remove, was back towards the swaybar since I knew touching the actual endlinks would be a pain but this turned out to be just as bad, so rusty it snapped the head right off the body. Then we had a bitch of a time getting the strut lined back up to reassemble it until Robbie showed up. Apparently I'm not heavy enough weight to push it down lol. But either way big ups to Anil for atleast attempting, I probably will wind up letting Revline deal with all the rust.

On a sidenote swoosh - that whole karma thing we talked about? Found a $20 bill on the ground yesterday lol, I think it was to recoup my beer costs in the spirit that all is well.

Damn man, sorry to hear about that. Weather in the midwest just eats away at the underpants of cars

Anil and I had some issues installing my coils too. Had to cut the endlinks and buy new ones. Then had to buy new strut kit pieces (rubber bumpers, stop washers, etc.) because they were rusted to my stock struts.

Anil is boss though, he's always handy to have around

Brandon, I will be working from home for the next 2 weeks....I am driving back from STL today....

this is what I suggest, go to revline, pay them $30 for the rear camber kit and buy Moog end links and get those installed by them as well....see if they can install new bolt in place of the snapped bolt....

rest we can do in my garage bud....so you will still save whatever they are charging you for coils....

and even though the beer you got is still unopened, as a rule, you need to bring some more

just fucking with you bud....but dont forget the lug key this time

Thanks Dave

Was anybody driving West on 70 (from perhaps STL?) last week? Didn't get a good look at it, only saw that it was black and aftermarket wheels.

I brought it in to Revline today, and remembered to bring my key just for you haha.

Are you planning on hitting FF tomorrow Anil? Or anyone else for that matter? Was nice seeing some of you there last time!

Maybe we can all drag Steven out of the house for once...

I think I will be getting there at 730-ish....the wifey cannot walk for long, so we will be getting there a little late and we can all go get snow cones or some like that after

Also, since Steven has a new lens...he NEEDS to come and take some snaps

I definitely need some new pics. I haven't taken any good ones since my drop + wheels. Also need to do my new center caps before taking any pics.

I probably won't make it to FF tonight, my car is not presentable right now

Saw the link and there were no pics of the swooshmobile. I r dissapoint. But good pictures nonetheless, looked like a great turnout, wish I could've made it (family in town)

Anil - I just had Revline do everything, it turned out well I'll text you some pics . I need to de-rust that car or something...they had a hard enough time as it was and my camber arms are still seized on the car now, I had to order bunch of new hardware because they are going to have to cut all the old shit out lol. Pain in the ass it sounds like but soon will all be worth it. I think we should get a post-national meet meet/photo-op sometime soon in a nice location for the KS people!

I was wondering when that would happen, it's usually done earlier in the summer like in May, but nonetheless, its a pretty good meet - turnout has been pretty good last few years I've been. Ill be there of course

There's idiots in every group somewhere bro...the year before last people got stupid and there was a pretty decent wreck. But those are the people who usually are racing to get to the front - I stay in the back and cruise with the other adults who actually know how to drive, but I feel you. Last year was alot more docile than year before last from what I remember.

I think we should - it's always a pretty decent turnout, and i know year before last we had quite a few exotics show up (they dont cruise though.) Either way it'd be a cool AZ meet up, worst case scenario we cruise the opposite direction that the main group goes .

Construction =

I know I think next year or year after next, Lenexa plans major renovations at the I35/95th street exit and will have the whole thing shut down for like 6 months. Worst. Thing. Ever.

Anil, convince me not to buy these for winter wheels: http://kansascity.craigslist.org/pts/3940591546.html

Does want...

I decided to be responsible with my monies and not buy new wheels when I already have a set sitting in the garage...even though they were a good deal.

I am going to use that money instead to buy a replacement 6 disc changer - my mechanism has failed (I think) and it makes a god awful noise like a CD is jammed in it 24/7. Drives my OCD nuts lol...

I hope I can make it out to the next gathering, I missed last FF sadly...twin peaks girls were there. Wanted to go lmao.

Get together on Saturday at my place.

Is FF this Friday???

Also, I'm having a general get together at my place Saturday evening/night. I've invited those of you who I have on FB but here's the invite for the rest of you.

We are grilling out and playing yard games and some card games (Cards Against Humanity!) later on. Fun starts at 5pm and grilling starts up about 7pm. It's BYOB and either bring something to grill or a side dish. If you want to come then pm/email/call me so I can get you added on FB so you can see all the details. If you want to arrive sooner then 5 then that is fine too.
