Hey guys need some help this Saturday installing my PCD's. I have been told that these should be put on before the SC as it will be easier to do. I have access to a hobby shop on base or if you wanna do it in the driveway thats fine but I know it would be easier on a lift.

not really since you have to get the bolt from the top....

i tried doing this in my driveway and FAILED

for the front:
got the passenger side fan out....got the 4 bolts (precat to engine block) off the front precat....the bottom 3 bolts (precat to jpipe) wont come off .....

for the rear:
got the strut bar off....cudnt get to the bolts to the precat (engine to precat since the car was on ramps)...the bottom bolts wont pop off either

if you were to put the car on the lift....i bet you wont be able to get the to the rear precat bolts.....

i might hit up a firestone and get the bottom 3+3 bolts loose using the impact then hand tightened....and try getting to the rear 4 bolts from the top.....

 

yeah thanks for the info. I have seen it done when Stillhere153 and thewanderer316 did my procats last year and they used a lift and had it done in about 2+ hours or so but he said i was the 18th install for him lol

I just need someone to help and advise

 

yeah i wish i was in the NY/NJ (i think thats where stillhere and wanderer are....no am not stalking them ) area....yeah but if i was there i would show up with a 12 case of beer
