Anyone interested in starting a car club?
I seen a lot of Acura's in Maryland but no Acura car clubs. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in starting a Acura car club? Doesn't matter what type of Acura you have just as long it's a Acura or Honda.

The reason theres no real acura car club is because other peoples friends dont have a acura and they will feel excluded from the club, so some of us have created car club muti different cars in it even though most are acuras in it! But Good luck with yall group! Most of the acuras in the maryland area like myself hang with a bunch of other acuras and other cars! Its like we have a car club but dont have a name!

I am going to add jrb9790 and chaosnexstacy to my friends list. If anyone else is interested, just add me and send a message. My cousin and his friend also has a car club which contains 2 Supercharged (w bottle) Dodge Chargers, 2 Ford Crown Vic Intercept, 1 Modified Chevy Malibu, 1 SRT-4, 1 Modified Mitsubishi Gallant, 1 Honda Prelude and some other members I haven't met yet. I am trying to bring out the Acura family in Baltimore. We do attend to meet other car clubs among Baltimore, Glen Bernie as well attend AcuraZine meetings. One of my close friend is part of a Supra car club out Glen Bernie which attracts a very large crowd of misc car clubs. The last time I went, they recored a video of 2 supercharged vipers having a ball in the parking lot as well as a 700 hp supra. Believe me, we have ball out there.....
So I will add you guys to my friends list and see when we can schedule a day to meet up to meet some of the other guys.
Also this week or next I plan to go to six flags too. I have 32 $20 discount tickets if anyone is interested driving out there with me.

Misc locations, you just have to come out and see because we move from place to place. Sometimes we ever go out to the track. Last week was Pinks so everyone was out at the track.
Yeah one of my buddies name ''PC'' he works at a shop and does side work. From turbo work, to engine swaps etc and he also has tieds to other people. Also a guy that lives down the street from my parents house is a mech that does side work too. I took him my 1991 Acura Legend when I did the Type 2 swap. She ran good but I sold it and bought a Acura Cl. I miss that Legend.
My cousin and I do a little work, oil changes, HIDs install, system install, brakes etc so if you ever need help you can swing by my crib and we will look out for you. My cousin also has ties to shops. I also take my car to this Japanese guy that know's all about Acura and Honda's. When I had my Honda Civic he took care of her. I've been going to his shop for about 5 or 6 years. He's cheap on prices but not as cheap as my parent's mech. He only charged me 300 to do the engine and transmission swap for the Legend.

Did you take you CL down to MIR? I was there on Saturday and saw a silver 2nd gen CL in the lot.
Are all these places/people in Baltimore? I live in Annapolis (although I work in Baltimore) so I'm not sure how helpful that is.

Yeah...the local meet up is a shop in Lanham where we already get discounts and hook ups, where lots of the Acs go to...and we meet in 214/Largo/mitchelville area...thats the car club there...

Call Asian Imports...ask for Curtis...301-809-0600. I cant say how much...but you should be able to do it yourself..everyone else does it themselves instead of paying to get it done...

^Gotcha....
Yeah, I know how to install them but not for the CL. I notice that you have to remove the bumper and also do some soldering to the lights if I'm not mistaken. I've installed 12k on my Acura Legend and Nissan Maxima but I didn't have to remove the bumper so it was pretty easy. I just don't trust myself following around with trying to remove my bumper on the CL. I'm more afraid I might trigger the air bags.
