Calling D&B today and Great Falls park to get some reservations. We have 31 days left so meet agenda finalizations have to be done.

I wanna know what you guys think about for the ever ongoing problem of who the hell is who at these meets. I have seen some meets that members had the HELLO MY NAME IS .... stickers but yes it may be corny and grade schoolish, but it is effective. I also thought about maybe at the table we could do index cards with your name and screen name I think its easier that was cuz its a big ice breaker. I have been to several meets and I myself have been timid at times to go up to another member cuz frankly I just didnt know what to say and I wasnt sure what they drove. You could be standing next to a guy you talk with often on the forum and not even know it.


On another note if anyone cares im not sure if my TL will be there but i will try my hardest to get her fixed. She may not be boosted but she will be running at least. Prob looking to pull the head next weekend to see what the hell is going on inside. I do know that 2 cylinders have ZERO compression but i hope nothing else internal. I will most likely open up another thread because lots of members need to learn off others mistakes and it would be nice to see the inside of these J32s. If its really fucked then ill be driving my suburban with the fam

Ill post a vid i took of it 2 weeks ago just to let you guys know im not bullshittin. I havent narrowed down the cause but Im pretty positive my clutch gave out and i over-revved and the compression was too much (I THINK) I dont wanna get too technical on vid comments as I want to keep this a meet thread, but enjoy my TL that now sounds like a WRX with exhaust

I saw a few accidents out there eariler. My boss came into town and wanted to have a meeting at 9am. I went there on summer tires

I made it back alive but there were a few close calls (mainly when the brakes didnt do much).

The car is in the driveway and not moving until Saturday.

And schools here were closed as of last night, a full 12 hours before a single flake even fell

so many accidents around here too. at least half of the people who own cars can barely drive them in warm dry weather, and a fourth of that half shouldn't even have licenses, so throwin snow into the mix is just a disaster. people around here just amaze me by the shit they do.
